don't you just love the feeling of being juggled between company support? Gotta say.. GoDaddy has gained a lot of respect from me today. They may be one weird company and support SOPA, but they care greatly about their customers and want to make you satisfied with their support. I feel like I'm being given the run-around with NameCheap.

I don't get why people are hating on companies because they support SOPA. SOPA is good for the companies, and a big company couldn't care less about an incredibly residual number of offended customers.

And what if Sega supported SOPA? Would any of us stop being a Sega fan?

I think people are blowing everything out of proportion. Hate SOPA, not companies.

I find it very difficult to exist on the official Sega forum, I'm trying my damn hardest not to break any rules... Yet I've been warned twice.

This time, i said:

Now here is what was said, to get me the warning:

Some guy was arguing that Nintendo games are perfect on release and thats why Nintendo does not patch their games. He said:

You said Wii Music should have patches, but you also said patches wouldn't fix it. What was the point of your statement if you're going to say it wouldn't have done anything?
You seem to misunderstand. Mario Kart caters to the casual demograph. A lot of people like having a chance to recover if they're doing badly. It makes the game more fun for those with less skill. Nintendo didn't even change the balance of the game in the next game iteration, so why would they patch it?

In reply I said:

I have to scratch my head when I read things like this... Just because Nintendo DON'T balance the game doesn't mean they SHOULDN'T. It's a pretty simple concept, when it comes to multiplayer games balance is everything. Just because they are aimed at casual players (I'd dispute that) doesnt suddenly mean that they can forgo balance. Balance is a crutual part of what makes a good game and if you can't get it right the first time then you should damn well patch it. It isn't like Mario Kart and Smash Bros aren't popular enough to warrent the extra care.

Seriously, the community team NEEDS to give SEGA bloggers special membership. It's so stupid how we have to deal with the mods over there. SEGA bloggers should be given a special title on their forums, and not be treated like shit by the mods.
