I dunno if you guys know Keefers, it's this streaming site. So they were shootin around this idea and I thought it would be really awesome for us here.

It's like, making a game about us.
Many people know how to use RPG Maker and such. We could have an RPG that covers our entire history. The party could start out with some of the people that were here since the very beginning and then we would go through Sega Nerds and the evil Lord Kartel would come along and we'd be freed into Sega Bits.. The forum members would be characters.

Everyone could help. Some with the game making, others with the story, some with the art and ideas..

What do you guys think? Anyone there could make this possible? I think it would be fun.

I think that sounds like great fun. I would love to be part of something like that.

EDIT: In fact, I remember a post that had something similar in it years ago when the board was still that red and white weird thing. Someone mis-wrote a post and implied that there was a game called 'Sega Nerds'. Kogen said something about the last boss being TA and Joe's posts merging to form a super-evil post.

We would need to have cameos from Arsene of course.

I've always wanted to make an RPG based around several members internet life! Okay no not really but I suppose it could be great fun to contribute too.

I could contribute to some art. Not talking mind blowing amounts of stuff, but I could still do a little doodling.

Barry the Nomad would be the wandering trader, buying and selling items.

Well I recall me and Jonboy battled it out in the charts thread, Sanus and Kogen were given mod powers accidently and caused havoc, Arsene stopped the catgirl invasion (Sanus, Shadi and Buzz contributing to it mostly) and Kogen was banned/defeated.

Also SEGAkids dills 4 u.

Lets not forget the great Spambot Invasion of 2008, WoW Gold. WoW Gold everywhere.

And it can go right up to recent times with the great Sonic 4 Schism that split the site into two camps, waging a small civil war until we were united by our love of Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown.

Master Lee can be one of the bosses and we can only defeat him after finding 'ultra-rare' games with more than one disc.

What ever happened to Chris, anyway?  That could be something too, how he disappeared and Sega Nerds went into chaos and was taken over by the evil mafia.

Wow this thread got load of totally sweet responses! There are some fresh ideas, but can anyone program a game? lol I have a friend of mine who might be able to help but I dunno..
I was thinking something in the style of Segagaga!

Oh! He can be that hugely buffed character that starts in your party as incredibly strong, but then leaves really early, forcing you to build the other members.

I've played around with AGS before, but thats for adventure games rather than RPGs. Even so I'm hardly good at it, but if I could manage some basics it must be pretty user friendly if we want to go down that path.

Shadi is the one in charge of keeping the SEGAbits empire running smoothly :3 and constantly arguing with George about how the empire should change and constantly being yelled at by Sharky and George to change stuff.
