Here's a nice little interview on Gamertag Radio.com about the game.

Kate Burning from SEGA has confirmed that there is the ongoing music licensing issue (they confirm that at least half of the songs are secured), some of 'em are a little trickier because apparentely the record labels that held their rights are no longer around, so  it's going to be tough.

I've seen some of the new screenshots online and I don't know exactly what they did but they seem gorgeous. Is it because it aged well? Or is it because they really are making a really good port?

Probably a bit of both. More stylized graphics tend to age a lot better than "realistic" ones. Castlevania: Symphony of the night aged a lot better visually than Final Fantasy VIII for example. I think that cell-shaded look will always look great :D.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I personally can't wait to hear Captain Onishima say "GOTCHA!!" again. Always made me laugh!

Staying up late while working on some graffiti entries while getting funky to the soundtrack.

I need to know about the soundtrack. I mean, even if we only get half of the songs then it'll still be amazing, but I just really need to know how much of possibly the greatest video game soundtrack ever made we'll be getting.

I cannot wait, either way!

Well, 80% is confirmed. Sounds like they're stopping there, doesn't appear they're pushing for more licenses. I'd assume Deavid Soul's tracks and Idol Taxi's OK House are what we're losing, which is a big shame because Soul's tunes especially are the sound of some big moments. Like kicking off the first full stage in Shibuya-Cho and almost all of Benten-Cho.

Will it have online graffiti trading? Or at least image file imports?

Remember on the Dreamcast how there was boobs everywhere?

I hope so! The graffiti contest accepted PNG files, so it'd be nice if the game let you import them off a flash drive or web address.

Graffiti Contest Winners Announced.

Some of the winners do look pretty cool. Some of the submissions also look great. I hope there is a way to import more of them into the game.

Mine seem to be messed up in the submission gallery, but not if you view them at original size: Small, Medium, Large.

AAAARRGGHH, still with the "Summer 2012" release schedule, damn it. If the game's only out in September, I'm gonna be so ticked off.
