On the Sega forums(General discussion) Someone wanted to celebrate 20 years celebration of the "GENESIS DOES WHAT NINTENDON'T" He posted a new version of it. Showing the ad in recent times.

WARNING: I AM NOT A MICROSOFT FANBOY NOR TROLL. I OWN A WII AND YOU COULD JUST CALL ME A NIN FAN. PLEASE DO NOT BE OFFENDED. I JUST WANTED TO SHARE AND THIS IS A SEGA FORUM. 20TH ANV OF AN AD - BE PROUD

I am offended, but only because Perfect Dark Zero is there.

Pretty cool ad, but Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts and Halo Reach should be there. Replace Gears with Gears 2 while you are at it.

Like the concept. VERY weak selection of games though. Launch games? Multiplatform games? Alan Wake? XBLA games?
Very very weak.

I got my PS3 for stability alone. I like some of the 360's games better, but there are far better than those.

And there's no need for this:

There's no problem in being a fanboy (of anything) as long as you present good arguments and don't flamebait.
Hell, I fanboyishly think the PS3 is shit and still, it's the only console I have because I like many of the games. trollface.jpg

"Shun" means to avoid.

Basically Playstation 3 "shuns" or "avoids" good games.

This 'ad' by the person is more prove that Sony has come a long way. When YOU do a ad, like SEGA did, its to show recent and future games. Its obvious that this guy has nothing exclusive that is recent and in the near future to look forward to.

Kinect at least looks innovative, right?

Er... If taking an Eyetoy. Give it a bigger price tag. And selling it with no good games is innovative...

Yes I agree with AutoSaver, EyeToy was the first camera used for playing games and had tons of great releases.

Eyetoy =/= Kinect

Not to get into a for/against argument, but perpetuating the idea that they are the same tech is just stupid. I might as well say nonsense like:

Er... If taking a Virtua Boy. Give it a bigger price tag. And selling it as the next DS is innovative...

or

Er... If taking a Wii. Give it a bigger price tag. And selling it as the Move is innovative...

Similar ideas but vastly different tech.
