Hummm the Bluray works fine, most games works fine. Its like going around the net the day Xbox Live was done for a day and a half and saying 'Xbox users, go buy a box that RRODs because I like Dreamcast" what does liking Dreamcast even have to do with this issue.

It was a comment on Kotaku. At least that is how I found it.

Sony haven't updated yet. I hope they update soon, but I hope they update about something else first like about another game, that way people can get all angry that they can't even play that game they are talking about.

Sony didn't kill the DC, SEGA not having money killed the DC. If anything, Microsoft over flooding the market had more to do with DC's plug being pulled than Sony, since the 'death' note was passed months after Xbox was announced. How would SEGA promote a console they had no money to promote against the Xbox and billions of dollars backing it up.

But this is not about that, this is about PS3's partially working.

To be honest the Mega Drive is just the greatest console ever made. It's not fair to compare the Playstation 3 to it, or almost any other console.

It's not the firmware. It's got to do with the bullshit implementation Sony made for the trophy system.

Still, the PSX/PS2 Slim pop-top CD tray is much better than PS2/3 slider trays.

The slim PlayStation 2 (or the PStwo as it was originally called, like the small model of the PSX) had a way worse fan... Actually I am not even sure if it had a fan.

Either way, both suck and are ugly, Viva la Xbox!
