Ron Gilbert ‘sad’ about negative reaction to Return to Monkey Island’s art style

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlS5A8y23xQ

Quote
"It’s ironic that the people who don’t want me to make the game I want to make are some of the hard core Monkey Island fans.
And that is what makes me sad about all the comments.
Return to Monkey Island may not be the art style you wanted or were expecting but it’s the art style I wanted.

Diving into Dolphin's Quest (Ecco The Dolphin's Spiritual Sequel)

The stage is large and filled with many different objects and activities that the player can activate. The Dolphin can swim, leap, and communicate with other dolphins and whales using sonar. The sonar can also bring up a map that displays part of the stage along with all creatures in the vicinity.
The sonar isn’t limited to communication and maps, it can be used to “grab” and move things around. This ability appears to be a core mechanic of the game.

FIFA Will Work With Other Developers To Launch Brand New Football Games

Quote
FIFA 23 will be EA's final FIFA game, and after this the series will be known as 'EA Sports FC'.
At this stage, it's unclear how FIFA would potentially compete with EA's title which already has a licensing portfolio of more than 19,000+ players, 700+ teams, 100+ stadiums and 30 leagues.

I blamed Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon A Time In Hollywood (2019) for this.

Street Fighter 5 composer explains why we'll likely never see Fei Long return ever again

Quote
"Friends of mine in the U.S., who are very close friends with the Lee family, have basically said that any kind of resemblance to Mr. Bruce Lee is now omitted for comedic effect," stated Lindholm. "It needs to be honorable."
"That's why we won't see Fei Long again. Ever," continued Lindholm. "It's a cool character type, but then you have Yun and these other guys from Street Fighter 3 to fill that void."

Vay - Battle rate reduction Hack

Quote
This hack reduces the random battle encounter rate in Vay.
There are four files included; each file multiplies the steps between battles with a certain multiplication value.
Apply the desired rate file - the bigger the number - the smaller the encounter rate.

History: 1995’s almost like a return of the 1982 Atari Shock" for SEGA, Nintendo, Capcom, Konami, etc

Quote
There was a huge decline in 16-bit sales in the year 1995, with one industry expert even saying “It’s almost like a return of the 1982 Atari Shock".
SEGA has not been the only company to suffer. One large software company stated, “There is not a single company that has been able to turn a profit in the European market.”
In the fiscal period ending in March 1995, Konami took an extraordinary loss of ¥11.6 billion due to clearing out unsold inventory.
During the same period, Capcom took a loss of ¥7.5 billion after writing down the value of its American subsidiary, and in the mid-year period ending in September 1995, Nintendo also took a loss of ¥9.8 billion after doing the same with its American subsidiary.
This fiscal year, SEGA is taking an extraordinary loss of ¥26 billion due to the downsizing of its American and European subsidiaries and due to the disposal of unsold inventory.
