At the very least the producers of this compilation – The Creative Assembly all the way there in Australia – managed to show that the Nintendo DS can actually emulate the SEGA Genesis, with some subtle flaws.

Kinda weird. I thought this was Backbone.

What the fuck is he talking about "Sonic was a great game back in the day but it's hard to turn a blind eye to its issues in this day and age. Blind spikes and hazards still piss me off" if you can't play a game I completed with no trouble as a 5 year old you are a pretty shit gamer mate.

IGN continues to prove how lost they truly are.

Also I guess SEGA finally found a use for them after that whole Stormrise fiasco.

There is no Creative Assembly in Australia. They fired all the idiots and renamed it to a generic 'SEGA Studios'. It is the same as the old Secret Level.

HEY GUYS IGN SUCKS! 8-)  8-)  8-)

I've been looking at videos of this collection on YouTube. Does anybody know why they put the drowning sound effect whenever you select a game?

[youtube:yfgiqsz6]cgiE-hKuLb4[/youtube:yfgiqsz6]

Pretty cool that they have Sonic Jam music though!

You'll also notice that the Bonus Stage at 5:07 is completely unplayable.

That special stage moment was odd. Is that a one-time thing or did they seriously release this like that?

Although I do not like that stage anyway and would mostly avoid it, but it is still embarrassment to have it like this.

Maybe it is just the DS emulator used causing the issue?

Besides the bonus stage issue, I think it looks like a very good port, shockingly good even considering the hardware. And yes, I like how they used Sonic World music from JAM.  8-)

Where does special stage went.

It looks great overall. But when I had my flashcart I used to play MegaDrive on my DS all the time. And there was an option to zoom in the image.
