I imagine a Lost Judgement game taking place in UK a lot like Peaky Blinders.

That's set in Indonisia though, not UK. Though I suppose it would be a bit more modern than Peaky Blinders.

It could work I think.. and it doesn't have to be modernized.
I mean .. look at Yakuza Kenzai and Ishin.
They're not even in present time.

Good point. Still kinda hard to imagine Yakuza outside of Japan... unless it goes by different names. I dunno if the London mafia have their own term.

It could may be if the place is United State.
If there is American Samurai and American Ninja then there could be American Yakuza !
Oh wait.. it already exists.

Amongst America's pride, culture and traditions that make it stand out from other countries, it's still a hodge-podge of other internaitonal cultures. So I guess it's possible for Yakuza to be in places other than Japan.

Dunno if there is any in Yakuza in UK, but we have six "chinatowns".

Lost Judgment Teaches You a Thing or Two About Mystery

Quote
While Yakuza hasn’t shied away from serious topics, Judgment makes a point to address societal issues.
Lost Judgment doubles down on this. We’d go deep into this sort of stuff if it wouldn’t spoil a lot of the narrative!
It’s fair to say that it spends a lot of its time and energy on high school bullying.
This sort of thing might resonate vividly with a lot of players, for better and worse, and it’s important to know that going in.
Things go badly sometimes. Situations don’t turn out the way you want. It makes for an engaging narrative, but one packed with emotional burden for the player.
