Ah, how I love our portuguese words... desenrascanço and saudades.
But you know what the real bitch about portuguese?
When you try to explain something that happened back then or when something used to be that way.
We use "antigamente" when explaining the past, it makes sick to my stomach, because when you say "Facebook wasn't like this back then in english, everybody understands.
But try saying that in portuguese and it feels like you're saying "In ancient times, Facebook wasn't like this." Because "antigo" means ancient, of course, in with the proper context, it's never really an issue, but it so annoying.
