God of War is a piece of shit.

West are the best in manly over-the-shoulder shooters.

I would argue they are now best at RPGs as well. And Sports games, and First Person Shooters, and Racing games.

Japan still wins out with Fighters and Platformers though.

You can skip that part, just keep on twirling the pole.

But yeah, like Mademan said, the easiest way.

You guy's are just reviewing the games wrong, didn't you hear the Square Enix guy? THOSE GAMES HAVE TO BE REVIEWED WITHOUT WESTERN PERCEPTION.

It is too late, I already broke my headset over failing like ten times so I just beat the level. I already beat the game like two days ago anyway, it is just was replaying it and trying to find everything. I do want to try and get all of the achievements and extras though, so I will try that out later.

The hidden stuff is pretty cool, but it gets kind of lame how almost all of them are only reveled when you backtrack. Is there a list somewhere online where I can just view where to find them all?

Go to Xbox360Achievements.com and check their guide/forums. They usually have really good guides for hidden stuff, and it's the site I used to get the hidden stuff.

So, impressions? What did you think of it? Hope you liked it apart from headset breaking shenanigans!

It is one of my favorite games this generation, not really much I dislike about the game really. I think the QTEs in it are outright terrible usually (they should only be used for extra points, never life or death situations), some of the bosses are really overused (especially the ones with the long fingers), there are a couple of really cheap shots near the end and the story is... Just... No.

Otherwise, really really great! I kind of wish they expanded more on exploration and level gimmicks a bit more, but they had to save some room for a sequel!

[spoiler:3m0fitpt]Kamiya needs to play Ninja Gaiden on Xbox to realize you should be able to do attacks on the walls.[/spoiler:3m0fitpt]

Boss with long fingers? Temperentia? The second one?

I can kinda see what you mean, I think he turns out about 3 times.

Yeah, I think you fight him like four times. I mean, it is all in different contexts, but... Come on!

My biggest issue with the game is actually the marketing. I hate how every trailer and press release about the game makes everyone believe it is some kind of perverted wankfest, when it really could not be further from the truth. She is just a normal character that just happens to bend her legs over her head, total slut amirite?

To be honest, I think they should have tried to market it to women. I think this is like the first game I ever played with a female lead this confident and independant. Not only that, but the automatic modes make it possible for people who never even touched a game controller to be able to beat the game. Hugely missed opportunity, but hey, it is SEGA, we should have expected as much!

Anyways, why is it so hard to unlock Jeanne?!?

What do you have to do to unlock Jeanne anway? That's one thing I still haven't done.

As for the advertising and what Bayonetta is really like, I agree. It's annoying to see people dump on the game unfairly without playing it, when she's actually a really brilliant and funny character.

To unlock Jeanne you need to get at least a Platinum rating on every level in Normal mode or higher. Like Orta said, you can also cheat, but that takes 1,000,000 halos anyways, so it takes a long time no matter what. The worst part is you need to start a whole new save file to use her.

I also missed the ice skate things and have no idea where they could be. I cannot even think of a game that has this many extras...
