Also guys, is it me or was the framerate really bad for Starfox Zero in the Digital event? Looking at the trailer now outside of the event it looks a lot better.

I like parts of it, but all the other added stuff looks like its slowing down the pace.

The framerate should be pretty solid. They said that they had to scale down the graphics a bit, because they're mainly focusing on being able to hit 60fps on the TV and gamepad simultaneously.

I don't follow the Metroid series, so can somebody explain Metroid Prime Federation Force to me and why I need to hate it?

Metroid is one of Nintendo's best and one of the few real mature titles they have. The sense of isolation in the games within lush planets and overall great environments is something no other game has done as well. Actually, there's no 1st person game like it and nintendo has a huge unique franchise with the metroid series.

With all the kiddy stuff nintendo already publishes, the one mature franchise has just been misused into another kiddy franchise, lacking all of the aspects i've described above.

The original metroid prime games are all worth 10/10. They are among the best games ever made. And people cherish them and for me personally its one of the most beautiful experiences i've had in gaming. It stands next to shenmue or any other game you'd consider to be special.

People wanted a new one too much. And they expected to see one yesterday. I think if this federation bullshit wouldnt be received as bad if nintendo actually anounced a legit metroid game for the Wii U right after it. But they didnt, so people feel insulted

I was told Metroid Prime Federation Force was a soccer game. Looks like it's just a mini game within it?

Wait, do you HAVE to look back and forth at the gamepad and TV, or are you able to use standard aiming?

CrazyT didn't even mention how they're splitting the canon or how Samus has been relegated from her own franchise.

It'd be like Sonic being relegated to a sidecharacter in his own game... Well that kind of happened in Sonic 06 too... So yes, this is a disaster.

I was told Metroid Prime Federation Force was a soccer game. Looks like it's just a mini game within it?

They'd waste resources in two different modes when we want Samus to make her glorious return.

Apparently StarFox wont even have branching paths to different planets.  :-\

From what it sounds like, there are alternate paths within the levels when you select alternate missions, but nothing that leads to new planets.
