Huh...That moon from Majora's mask wasn't that big after all.

About Starfox...

I watched the Tree House thing with them playing it. It looks terrible. They've basically broken the game thanks to the gamepad being crucial. The reason it looks rough is due to the console having to send the image out to both your TV and gamepad. The pad screen is where you do all your aiming and firing resulting in you (on tv) bumping into everything while you try and focus on the gamepad with it's motion control aiming.

The game also doesn't have different paths like Starfox 64 too.

Tetsuya Nomura not only confirms that the Final Fantasy VII Remake will keep the lighthearted elements (please look forward to Cloud wearing a dress), but that it's also been in development since before last year's FFVII re-release on PS4 was announced.

Are they going to re-do the script? I dunno if it was just the American translation, but it wasn't the best written game.

In addition to StarFox being underwhelming, I was looking at some footage of that new Mario Tennis game, and it seems just as strange. The animations seem like a big step down from the GameCube version, and the movement itself seems really jittery and janky for some reason.

And for some reason, the ball's speed actually changes for no reason. Check out this video at 2:02

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDe0MmUmepE

Mario hits the ball at a high speed, then when the ball bounces, it loses all of it's energy and inertia. It happens over and over again as the video goes on. Really weird.  ???

YEah that is pretty bad tennis physics. Has it been confirmed if Camelot Software is developing this game? Its s shame they don't make a new IP.

Backspin?

I don't think I even recall Mario Tennis having a backspin. And isn't the point of that giant mushroom shot to spike the ball as fast as you can off the court? Doesn't seem like a backspin kind of move. I dunno, it just seems like they are making it easier or something.

That was me, I am crazy glad you ended up doing it.
Haha no worries Moody, thought it looked pretty creepy.

I think the biggest overall Ninty disappointment for E3, for me, was Metroid Prime. Federation Force looks like a joke, that's some Power Rangers shit.

Metroid is one of Nintendo's best and one of the few real mature titles they have. The sense of isolation in the games within lush planets and overall great environments is something no other game has done as well. Actually, there's no 1st person game like it and nintendo has a huge unique franchise with the metroid series.

With all the kiddy stuff nintendo already publishes, the one mature franchise has just been misused into another kiddy franchise, lacking all of the aspects i've described above.

The original metroid prime games are all worth 10/10. They are among the best games ever made. And people cherish them and for me personally its one of the most beautiful experiences i've had in gaming. It stands next to shenmue or any other game you'd consider to be special.

People wanted a new one too much. And they expected to see one yesterday. I think if this federation bullshit wouldnt be received as bad if nintendo actually anounced a legit metroid game for the Wii U right after it. But they didnt, so people feel insulted

Thanks for the refresher, god that sucks.

Oh, it might annoy the Metroid fans here, but I have a mint CIB release of the original NES game. :P

lol, oh internet.

The "Metroid" game looks like it could be fun with friends, but it's depressing that it could get money behind it before a Samus-led game. It's awful that Nintendo doesn't see the damage they're doing.

These quotes don't make the game sound very good (NOA pic)

Fox's face really looks punchable on that photo.

Gaming for me is more of a mental gymnistic than it is a physical. I learned that after the Wii that I do not want to stand up, move around and do anything other than moving a bit of my hands and fingers to play a game. If its challenging like bayonetta, then all the better.

That last quote makes it sound like the opposite so for me. Basically another game forced with needless so called "creativity". Pass

Already selling my Wii u.

Very unlikely I'll buy another Nintendo product again.
