Wow. It is strange to think that just 10 years ago I thought the VMU was the coolest piece of tech around.

I wish this or at least Nintendo's Game Boy Advance to GameCube idea took off. Sure it cost a lot of money to have all of that stuff at the same time, but it was really fascinating to play a game together with friends and have to look down at your own personal screen for other things. Even in a shitty game like Sonic Shuffle, how you could look at your own hand of cards and tell friends where yours were or give them the wrong location for them simply blew my mind.

I remember my mind being blown by the Virtua Tennis 3D replays on the VMU.

On the link itself, it looks incredible.
Not the iPod. But a color VMU is something that would be so so awesome.

If Sega ever makes another console I hope they put screens on the controllers. At least that way they're worth 60 bucks.
