Quote
Apparently, the storyboards of the upcoming movie "Sonic 3" were leaked.
The interesting part is that they feature Dr. Robotnik, so it looks like he's come back for at least one more movie. 🤩

Nevermind. Turned out it's mistake

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie logo revealed + Jim Carrey is back

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5wdFSRYoOY

In addition to the logo reveal, which was accompanied by an orchestration of Sonic Adventure 2‘s “Live and Learn”, Variety broke the news that Jim Carrey is returning as Doctor “Eggman” Robotnik.
Carrey’s involvement was up in the air after the actor alluded to retiring from acting, though he did say he was not fully retiring. Clearly the Sonic movies are a good time for Jim, which explains his returning to the role.
As for Shadow, some social media users, myself included, incorrectly heard the laugh in the teaser as Shadow’s voice actor, when in fact it was ...

Heck yeah! I know he wants to retire, but I appreciate his dedication to the role. I hope he knows how thankful we all are, or at least I am, for this.

Also, I wonder if he'll look even more Eggman-like?

Oh well. I wasn't sure how I would feel if the Angry Bird movies were incorporated into the Sega Cinematic Universe.

This would also be Jim Carey's first movie trilogy in which he's involved in all of the movies.

Also, I wonder if he'll look even more Eggman-like?

Fatter version, may be? Heard that Jim really wanted to be this version.

Paramount is expected to run Super Bowl spots for “Knuckles” TV Series and more this Sunday.

Quote
In the game of football, possession is everything.
When it comes to this year’s Super Bowl, one studio will dominate the field by running nearly a dozen spots for its upcoming and existing releases. Paramount is expected to unveil ads for the post-apocalyptic horror prequel “A Quiet Place: Day One,” the reggae biopic “Bob Marley: One Love” and “IF,” the live-action fantasy comedy directed by John Krasinski and starring Ryan Reynolds. The studio’s outsized presence makes sense because the big game will air on CBS, a sister company of Paramount.
Paramount will loom large over the ...

He once suggested that Dr. Robotnik could potentially have his signature bloated-ness in the second film due to having to survive off mushrooms which he is allergic to.

You'd think they'd drop something for S3&K anniversary.

I really wanted a sequel of Mask with Jim Carey back ten, instead what we got was just a dissapointing sequel.

Ooh.. that could work

Since Pachacamac showed up, do you think there will be also a chance for Tikal then? Or Chao?

Could've... but too late now.

I believe a chance for Tikal at least... Still taken a back Pach' working in a bowling alley.

Like when you're coming up with ideas in a class group and that one weird kid suggest an idea that's a blend of ridiculous and creative and you can't help but just... acknowledge it.

Still... I'm glad Mr. Lloyd wasn't type-cast for Prof. Gerald Robotnik.

Knuckles Series Broke Paramount + Record for Biggest Trailer Debut of All Time!

I know, likely "The Buyer" is a completely original character... but I find it hard to believe Dr. Robotnik needs to "buy" a manufacturer for his badniks. I always imagine he secretly mass-produced them during his time as a government scientist and stock-piled them in secret locations. He made it clear in the first movie he detests other human help other than Agent Stone.

Bu-u-ut... Also hoping The Buyers real name will turn out to be a villain from another Sega game.
Who do you think that would make a good cast of Prof. Gerald Robotnik?
I don't know yet. I feel like I know better than to make casting predictions given it could be anyone than to apply logic patterns I know of.

For example, when Knuckles was announced for Sonic 2, my first guess was Omar Benson Miller to voice Knuckles, with my reasoning being Ben Hurst played the "blue" turtle and Omar Miller played the "red" turtle.

This will probably give Paramount+ a clear message that it's customers will prefer Sonic content over it's usual content.

I predict "The Buyer" is not the main villain here.
The main villain is a SEGA character,
and the one who's available is ... Pachacamac.
Pachacamac is the real villain.

I don't know yet. I feel like I know better than to make casting predictions given it could be anyone than to apply logic patterns I know of.

Yeah, he could also be played by Jim Carey too ... with a heavy make-over make-up.

This will probably give Paramount+ a clear message that it's customers will prefer Sonic content over it's usual content.

Amen to that.
