Oh wait until you try Eggmanland, you'll put the game down for good!

It was the walking on pipes bit as the werehog that pissed me off the most.

all it took to fix most of the werehog platforming was putting a shadow underneath the were hog.
Instead they put one ups right by the pipes.

I agree some shadows would have been nice.  I mean, that's platformer making 101... Then again, it's Sonic team, so it's to be expected they fail at the most rudimentary things.

Also, was there any point to doing those terrible Hotdog chalenges apart from Achievements? There doesn't seem to be any fun/reward from doing them.

Maybe Sonic is a ghost and died 9 years ago?

The hotdog achievements are not even worth it. IIRC they are only 10g or 15g each. What a joke.

I have many times and am pretty decent at it. It is the werehog sections where you have to balance on pipes while fighting the camera that has made me turn the game off plenty of times. Outside of Eggmanland, I think the game is pretty fun.

With the exception of Eggman Land, I expect to get all hot dog runs completed soon.

Yeah, there isn't much reason to do the runs as they are barely justify trying them if you are appoaching them just for the achivement points. I'm doing it because I'm on a sonic kick and I already played 1,2,3,knuckles earler this month. Plus, I like Unleashed (God forbid.)

One thing I wish was in Sonic Unleased were online leaderboards for time/point attacks. I am sure I'd be sitting pretty high in the world rankings just by how much I've played this game (and improved/mastered certain sections of it).

I really hope time attack/point attack leaderboards are in Sonic 4 and Sonic Adventure for XBOX Live (whever that comes out.)

Bit further in bioshock 2, it gets pretty repetitive in long plays.
I'm hoping to be back online this time next week to get some online games in before sasar

Been playing Mass Effect 2 and Yakuza 2.

Both games are just really fantastic. Yakuza 2 is really getting to the good bits now, and the side missions are also a lot of fun.

Mass Effect 2 has some pretty big changes from the first game (some that I don't like, like having to scan planets instead of actually landing on them, or the removal of different armor and weapons etc) but overall it's a better game. Really, really impressed. I wasn't expecting it, but it is giving Bayonetta a run for it's money.

EDIT: Almost forgot, also playing Tatsu vs Capcom, really cool game, very fun fighter. Wish the Wii had better online though, I only played a few matches against one guy, but the lag was pretty bad. Not quite SNK XBLA games bad, but pretty bad.

Putting off Final Fantasy V once again, to play more Half-Minute Hero.  If you've got a PSP and have any interest in RPG's whatsoever, do yourself a favour and pick this one up (it's even on sale on the PSN right now).
I'm on chapter XIII or so of the "Hero 30" section of the game (beating some evil lord in less than 30 seconds).  Xseed did a great job on the localization. Full of personality.
I've run into a decent amount of branching paths too.

Most likely be getting a pso go in a couple of weeks and half minute hero was so something I am quite interested in.
That and lbp, burnout dominator, motostorm and powerstone collection.
Why are there no virtua tennis titles on the psn?

I'm really not too sure why they haven't put Virtua Tennis up there yet. Lumines, Every Extend Extra, FF Tactics(the remake) and Crisis Core are MIA too for some reason.
Prinny, Locoroco 2, Sonic Rivals (1&2), Crush, Mega Man Maverick Hunter X, and MGS: Portable Ops are safe bets too.  Echoshift looks like it'll be pretty solid when it comes out.

Virtua tennis would be a logical choice to put on Live/PSN as a downloadable game. Not sure why it hasn't been done sooner.

I played through a bit of the Lost in Nightmares DLC for Resident Evil 5 last night. It was really late, so I didn't get through the whole thing.
It's really similar to the first RE, but running on the RE5 engine. The mansion layout is pretty similar. The majority of it is: grab this item, bring it back to where it goes, pick up something else, go through the newly opened door, etc...
They've got the door opening animation from the old games in it, which was cool.
I'd say it's worth the $5.

Other than that, I've been playing more Half-Minute Hero

I just got my burnout paradise platinum trophy, I only needed to get the 60 billboards, found all routes, 5x showtime and 5 burning routes to get it.

Congrats :).
Definitely one of my favourite games of this generation.
The DLC has a decent amount of fun trophies too. The Big Surf Island DLC was pretty great.
