Indeed. Even in the screens that Pao posted, the colors are too washed out. :|

First Hands-on:

Quote
The one thing you don't have is the ability to run. This has been replaced with a somewhat odd system  where instead of running you do jet-powered knee and thigh slides across the floor, like a rocket-fuelled Kevin Bacon in Footloose. Initially I found the sliding rather odd, but once I'd got a little more used to it, I found it worked well.
No Running?!1!!1!
That may either work extremely well, or ruin the whole game.

No running?... Right now that sounds like a terrible choice, I don't really WANT to boost everywhere.

I guess I'll wait and see, but that put a bit of a damper on what was currently one of my most anticipated games! I hope the average 'walk' speed is a light jog or something then.

Well it might work well in the context of the game. I think too many of us assumed this is supposed to be a general fast paced action game when I think he wants to do something else.

But honestly, I think it sounds like a bad idea too.

^ They DID say its a super fast paced action game though.

Regarding Boosting, they said its controlled by pressing L1 (PS3) and moving the left and right analog sticks to move and strafe.

Hmm, well I'm playing Conviction atm and you can move from cover to cover by aiming at something then hitting 'A' and he sprints to it and slides/ducks behind it. If it works in a similar manner I could see it working quite well, as it works well in Conviction.

They should show different environments.
We need a gameplay trailer anyway.

Bayonetta was teased the same way. It was so frustrating to only see the level that was in the demo for almost the whole production.

I am certain we will see more areas and actual gameplay at E3 though, which is what I think they are waiting for.
