Honestly I would say Sanus should skip on Kinect until there's more to play on it. Right now I don't think there is a single title he would like. Maybe when Child of Eden, Rise of Nightmares and Gunstringer are out he could go for it (and those might not even be that good. Plus CoE doesn't need Kinect), but right now I think he would be wasting his money.

I think Sanus should sell his PS3 and get Kinect.

I think he should sell all his possessions and move to the country, renouncing gaming forever, then settle down with a nice girl and start a family.

One day his kids will accidentally kick a loose panel in the barn and find a safety deposit box inside. When they break off the lock they'll find a Sega Dreamcast, two controllers and a copy of Shenmue 1 & 2.

As they look on in wonder and amazement at this strange hidden treasure, one will ask "Who do you think it belongs to?".

Sanus, unknown to the children has been watching them from the house the entire time. Knowing this day would come, he walks to the barn and places a reassuring arm over his youngest child and ruffles the hair of the older one.
"Children. It's time I showed you something very important. Something your mother doesn't even know about."

Scared, but curious the children follow him to the back forty acres of the Snaus estate farm, to a building they've never been to before. Sanus opens the heavy door and leads the children in. Inside the building is a cacophony of sound and excitement and several asian men all huddle around a fenced off area.
"What is it dad? What is this place?"
With a glimmer in his eye as a single tear falls from his cheek, Sanus responds;
"This is where we place large sums on money on the outcomes of racing. Duck Racing."
As the three of them stand at the doorway of the families greatest kept secret, a pitch black night unfolds with the morning star as its only light,

And thus the saga...begins...

Sorry about my silence here, been dealing with personal issues. Nothing bad per say, like no one is dead or sick or anything.. it's literally just personal issues of mine.

I've just been in a rut I guess you could say, and it's been taking its toll on me mentally. I've been doing better the past few days or so.. then something sorta clicked last night and I'm doing better today. [s:2qf8u3cz]I'm hoping[/s:2qf8u3cz] I can keep this up. It's no fun being stuck in a rut.

just gotta keep exercising my self-control. It's my only way out of my personal hell.

He was using ATMs as an example of automation replacing roles that could be filled by employed humans, and I agree that many job roles are being made obsolete by automation or trimming the fat of processes. I think it would help for successful companies to create more job roles, rather than trimming their work force.

edit: having watched the interview, the question asked was about why companies' spending on equipment have gone up 26% during the recovery while hiring is only up 2%. So in that regard, the answer fits.

Except that his remark doesn't mesh well with the cold hard facts.

I was given a guitar a few weeks ago by my dad. It used to be my sisters but she hardly used it. but she abused it well. The place where the strap is supposed to go is broken =P

So i was pretty depressed yesterday and figured I needed to do something new. So i took out the guitar and looked up a tutorial online. I think I will like it.. whenever my fingers decide to stop hurting. It's so hard to hold down the thickest string. I also woke up this morning with really swollen fingertips on my left hand. Still swollen, but not as bad as this morning.

The swelling goes away and your fingers get used to it. Enjoy : )

Good luck shadi, and good thinking too. Sometimes it just takes something new to make a big difference.

Jurassic Park announced for blu-ray.

Roar! Not a huge fan of the sequels, but in HD the dino scenes will look great. Also, I do enjoy the action sequences in The Lost World. Especially the raptors in the tall grass.

So I went to the doctor last week and he prescribed me two new medicines for my anxiety/depression.

One is Valium, which I haven't noticed any bad side effects from and it might be helping me and i might not be realizing it.

The other is this crap called Venlafaxine which got OK'd by insurance yesterday so yesterday was my first... (AND LAST) day taking it. That stuff is just bad >_> Lol. I was up all night, feeling sick to my stomach, feeling weak, and an aching body. I don't feel like typing a lot so if your curious to see how bad that medicine is, here is a URL: http://crazymeds.us/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Meds.Effexor

Needless to say. I'm not taking the Venlafaxine stuff. I'm gonna work on keeping myself happy in natural ways. I don't think the valium is gonna hurt at all though, I mean i haven't noticed anything bad yet =P and hey if its helping me feel less anxious then that's great.
