Even overtaken by Carnage, Miles is still a hero at heart.

With Unity shooting itself with it's change of * for its upcoming runtime fees, makes me wonder how half of these games will manage. Either Disney will sue Unity or these games will have to be close down, some perhaps lucky to be re-released on a new engine.

Or may be they just ... cut the profit and pay? Well, for the profitable ones at least, the others are just like you said.

Just because Disney can afford it, doesn't mean they won't appreciate it.

Well, now that Unity is sorry about its controversial install fee I guess it's gonna calming down ... for a while.

Saying you're sorry is easy. But are they actually going to drop the fees?

They've changed it into more "reasonable" change than before.

- Unity Personal plan remains free with no Runtime Fee.
- Earnings cap increased from $100k to $200k.
- "Made with Unity" splash screen requirement removed.
- No fee for games earning less than $1M in 12 months.
- Current games unaffected unless they update to the next Unity version

I guess that's an improovement. I should still consider jumping to Unreal though... especially given I uninstalled Unity.

Never tried them myself so I still don't know which one is better, Unity or Unreal.
