Shadow isn't black, the colour of his fur has nothing to do with his ethnicity...

Shadow shares the blood of the Black Arms and Black Doom. If you ever watched the cutscenes of Shadow the Hedgehog you would know this. Not saying hes black ethnicity either, but his blood is from all things black! Juat ask Iizuka.

Exactly Shadow is Black........So black that he is emmmmooooooooo

About early posts. How many non-Europeans ( meaning a person who can not be identified as being European AKA white with blind glasses ) have we seen in an Sonic series? Again not counting the Saturn or games before the Dreamcast.

Have you seen at least one non-European person in either SA1 or SA2 and so forth???

I think I've seen some that speak with American accents, so I don't think they are European.

Also Knuckles is African-American I believe, which is not European.

Dude Knuckles is a fictional character. The one who is black is Shadow.

The problem is the abuse of the theme of Knuckles since SA2 started. After that Knuckles was not even Sonics equal anymore. Just another character are slowly phasing out.

He is not African anything at all. If you think that then your obviously missing a head or two. Their is no way to reslove this conversation without anybody understanding current trends of the 1980's and 1990's.

You do not really get my question or response at all. I feel like I am talking to a five year old.

WHAT THIS THREAD HAS BECOME:

Either way; you obviously do not understand anything about current trendings. Keep in mind this person in the image is the kind of person who is writing this stuff.

Ever seen "Three Ninjas Kick Back" or "StreetFighter the movie" or "Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles". What do you think people in the east think of these things.

I'm pretty sure we are aware that Knuckles is a fictional character! But we are discussing the ethnicity of that fictional character. For example Hiro Protagonist is a fictional character, but his ethnic background is African American and Japanese. In the same way there is evidence of Knuckles being African-American, and Shadow being Caucasian. Fur colour has nothing to do with ethnicity.

That is not what we are going about. Somebody started talking this after my displeasure about the SA1 and SA2 music.

I just do not like how they play the lame rap music in SA2. I mean SA1 was okay; but SA2 just got sillier and sillier. It is so lame. Not bad; but lame. The music is not bad, but for the stages it feels uneeded or destroys the theme of the stage.

In terms of races, not themes, not character analysis, not what they are in general.

Knuckles = What A Japanese person thinks about Jamaican West Indian people. That is the feeling I am getting from Knuckles since SAII. The Anime and GBA did some justice on that.

However during the 1980's and early 1990's. Their was an array of Jamaican/Islander themes in ficiton. From "Day of the Dead" to "Suburban Commando" to "Cromartie High School: The movie". Even "Crash Bandicoot", and "Tazmania", and "The Tick" had such themes.

I would rather Knuckles go back to the Raggae beat instead of Street beat. It would make more logical sense. SA2 is also not one of my favorite Sonic games. I feel if they had pool their resources into the Dreamcast game alone; they would have actually make something that was decent. The game itself feels unfinished and the production was rushed.

SA1 is logical, and had that SEGA sound from the Saturn days. Where the Saturn was promoting a new image for SEGA. At least in Japan.

Writing is limited in fiction. When a person makes something; they are not thinking about logical details until the work is done. Things like this come at random. Take how the Zelda FPS Game creator made a big deal about how "African Deserts have no Cactus". When we are talking about ZELDA II, A FICTIONAL SERIES. These are the kinds of stupidity when it comes to fiction. In my opinion, the creator of the game apparently feels Zelda is DAD, and should reflect that source.

This is a big problem with material that is pumped out of the west. You and I do not have to be non-fictionally accurate about fiction.

That is it I am done. I am out of the conversation unless something else different pops up. Like I am talking to a tape recorder playing the same thing over and over again. If we went back in time and saw what exactly went down in SEGA itself. When Knuckles started saying words like "mon" in the guide book, to Knuckles being given rap music in SA2. I am sure we could answer this question.

Otherwise SEGA ruined another good thing or better yet the fans are not educated enough and ruins it for everybody else. Who am I kidding this material is made for five year olds.

..........

In fact I see a bigger problem with this conversation. I don't want to point this out but your leaving my no choice. MadeManG74 your from Australia. Which is locked into the Common Wealth. I really doubt you experience every single kind of culture 24/7 a day from when you were a kid in grade school equivalent. One thing I am thankful for is experiencing different cultures head on; otherwise I would think the same way as you do.

I forget who I am talking too. I don't know what expriences you had, or what you learned in this world. There is a big difference between sky scrapers to public housing, and extra brighten yellow with pearl blue waters, and undamaged soil. I am going to be like Squaresoft one day. Sell all my wordly possessions and move to some tropical island.

Would a moderator please shut this down? This topic has more or less exhausted itself and it's becoming offensive.
