Buisness Insider looks at how Sega's Sonic 2s day..event led to other game publishers to release their big games on tuesday as well as other big eletronic firms....
Another trend started of course by Sega...not frigging EA or FIFA...

Ah, so that's why they still release the games on Tuesday in America!?!
I always thought it was some strange thing they did.
It's mostly Friday in the UK, but I do see some bigger games come out on Tuesday. Although it's somewhat rare.
