Just woke up and saw the news. Awful. Although I wasn't a fan of the direction he was taking Nintendo, he always came across as a nice man who would have time for anyone.

RIP Iwata

When I first saw this news, it caused me to pause for a moment. It saddened me to see such an iconic and beloved figurehead of gaming pass away a relatively young age. Looking back, I very much enjoyed watching his direct presentations. If Nintendo chooses to keep making them, they just won't be the same without Iwata.

You are now aware the puppets were a way to mask his condition.

There are momtents where it just hits me, "Iwata is really gone". Such a sad thing that happened. The memories he left of himself are stuff that can be crushing when look back at.

Here a tribute made for him by one of the music staff

Its so deep.....hopefully, Iwata-San's sprit will be fused to Nintendo workers to deliver that charm that he had.

I miss him. :'(

Yeah man. Its gonna be interesting to see what Iwata has left for the people in the upcoming years with NX and his unified ideas.
