SEGA figures at Summer Wonfes '15
« on: July 26, 2015, 08:23:28 pm »
This was a good WonFes to be a SEGA fan. New announcements:

Jet Set Radio:
Beat Vulcanlog (basically Revoltech) - http://myfigurecollection.net/item/331773

Virtua Fighter:
Figma Akira Yuki - http://myfigurecollection.net/item/331712
Figma Sarah Bryant - http://myfigurecollection.net/item/331713

Yakuza:
Figma Goro Majima - http://myfigurecollection.net/item/331539

7th Dragon:
Figma Samurai - http://myfigurecollection.net/item/331535

Persona counts as Sega now, right?
Figma Makoto Yuki/P3 MC - http://myfigurecollection.net/item/331531

There was also a Mega Drive statue but she was a convention exclusive.

Kinda sucks she and Dreamcast didn't get a Nendoroid announced to go along with Saturn. I also expected Red Ring Rico considering the 15th Anniversary is coming up and the Rico mag in PSO2 practically looks like one already. Maybe next time.

Hopefully this Beat figure proves to be less expensive than the First4Figures one. Does the manufacturer usually make really expensive figures? Or Vulcanlogs, are they super expensive? Make some affordable merch, SEGA!

Will the Virtua Fighter ones be in color or are they staying that shade of gray?

I def want that Beat figure.

They're much more affordable. For example, a dragon from Monster Hunter from the Vulcanlog line is roughly $40 USD.

The Virtua Fighter figures are prototypes. They'll show up all nice and painted at some point.

If a bigass dragon is only forty dollars, I can see a regular human being a little less expensive. Very excited, it looks like they're going to be basing it off the game instead of the All-Stars Racing design, which I heavily approve of.

They probably won't be made in scale to each other, so I imagine Beat will be roughly equivalent in price. Still, that's a helluva lot cheaper than F4F.

I wonder if we'll get any more this year?

I really really want something from Streets of Rage or Fantasy Zone.
Big fan of Claymore, Miria in particular.

Currently playing Yakuza 0.

I'm still holding my breath there'll be some kind of Phantasy Star announcement. 15th Anniversary of Online and no figures? Talk about lame. But there's still the dream of something coming up at the Winter Wonfes in February.
