As you guys may know, the official PS4 controllers are expensive as f*** and are pretty bulky. This was made with kids in mind but also has that retro design that I as an adult couldn't shy away from it.
So I impulse-bought it early Saturday afternoon and I have to say, totally worth it!
There are a few catches: it's a wired controller (with a lengthy cable, fortunately), no mic plug, no motion sensor and the touchpad is just a button.
It took me a few minutes to ajust to it, but I can safely say that it's fun. The retro-ish design makes it atractive because it feels like an early Genesis game pad. It's got solid built, it's less noisy than the regular controller. It's fairly small, I'd say it's about the size of a 5-inch smartphone.
The other big plus is that costs less than half of a regular controller.
Just saying to all PS4 owners, it's worth tracking one down and buying one.
