While I enjoyed MK vs. DC I don't really have much interest in this Mortal Kombat title. (The DC superheroes won me over in the last installment) I just wish all the trailers and stuff focused more on the gameplay and such, all it seems to be is fatalities. Is that all the MK fans care about? Post-game finishers?

I gave the demo a shot, but since I've never put much time at all into a Mortal Kombat game, I had no clue how to do any post-match moves. It usually ended with me kicking someone in the shins after the big "Finish Him" popped up :-/.

If you press the start button during a match you can see the move list for how to do all the special moves, fatalities and such.
Most MK fans would hate me because I played MK vs. DC with the blood and gore turned off, they probably think that's sacrilegious or something.  :P

@MadeManGT

I gotta ask, if the game is banned in Australia, can you still import said game from Europe, seeing how AUS and EU are both in the PAL region?

Probably not, customs must be a pain...

It's illegal to import it from overseas, even though importing a copy from Euro/New Zealand would technically work on an Australian console. It's already been said that customs will be on the lookout for imported copies.

There are technically ways around it I believe, but in practice they wouldn't work if you tried to argue it. At the end of the day, I'm sure it would be possible to have a friend buy it for you and mail it over though, I doubt that customs is going to check every single package with a disc inside of it.

I used to hate the series because I thought the gore was a lame selling gimmick, but it is generally for silly humor. In one of the Xbox games there is a building you can throw characters off that is so tall the character has to take his breath while screaming, good stuff.

I would have probably bought MK vs DC for the DC stuff as well honestly (I do not own any MK game, but might consider this new one eventually), but it really bugged me how they had DLC for Harley Quinn in the works, but had to scrap it. I love her.  :cry:
