Sega at Rezzed (the PC and Indie Game Show)
« on: June 08, 2012, 12:53:18 am »
So I searched, didn't see anything and I am not sure if this was reported on the main site, as, yet again, I searched for that and found nothing.

More to the point, Sega will be at Rezzed later this month, this is a new trade show in the U.K. that Rock, Paper, Shotgun and Eurogamer have put together that's exclusively for PC-centric titles and Indie games that are also PC-centric. The reason it's more noteworthy than just any small-time trade show to us, as SEGA fans, is this will be the show where Creative Assembly debuts the "future" of the Total War franchise. This is confirmed, CA is showing exclusive TW content at this show. However Sega will also be showing some other stuff at the show, Aliens: Colonial Marines is confirmed, nothing else is confirmed for the show, but if I had to hazard a guess I'd say All-Stars Racing and maybe The Cave will be there.

Just thought the other TW fans around here might be interested in discussing this/getting pumped/what have you. Maybe it will help make up for the lackluster SEGA showing at E3 for some folks.

It definitely does, some other interesting exclusives will be debuting here unrelated to Sega, so if you are a PC gamer keep your eyes out! Also, fixed the link to the Rezzed site in the original post.

Minor update: Sega will be sponsoring a gallery of indie titles as selected by RPS and EuroGamer, called 'The Leftfield Collection' at this show. Sega's appearance at this show, related to the most popular PC gaming site, appears to coincide with their new digital-centric strategy given the strength of the PC DD market.

Leftfield Collection

There will be lots of successful indie developers hosting their work on the show floor, but you can find the stars of the future in The Leftfield Collection, sponsored by SEGA - a curated selection of our favourite indie games that you probably haven't discovered. Yet.
