By the time the "official" 16-bit era rolled around (acknowledgments to the Intellivision and its slow-ass games), the console wars were getting nasty in my neck of the woods.  My li'l homie, Radd, got gunned down in an NES Zapper drive-by one night when he was bringing home a new Genesis game.  I still can't believe those NES thugs got one of their parents to drive them on a murder spree in the mall parking lot.  I got there just as the minivan was peeling out.  From that point on I counted the days until the Genesis 6-button arcade stick came out.  I knew that thing was going to have some skull-crushing heft to it.  One night I snuck up on the kid who Zapped li'l Radd and waited until his homies went over to Cinnabon.  Then I pulled the arcade stick out of my backpack and switched on every single rapid fire switch, slid the slider up to maximum speed, and, well.. let's just say by the time mall security was running over, his face had experienced a combo unlike any other.  I managed to grab a drink from the Orange Julius to pour on the concrete in honor of Radd on the way out...

I remember a lot of console wars over the years with people throwing numbers around that they read in magazines and just blind fanboyism.

Many people never knew that the old Intelivision was the FIRST 16 bit console long before the days of the Nintendo vs Sega wars. I had the luck of owning both which was great but man some of them arguments were just plain nuts. Made me want to smack them upside the head with my old Apple //c (complete with carry handle!).

i never gave the intelivision the slightest attention honestly. i joined the sega crew ever since. i loved the game gear more then the gameboy. i loved the master system more then the nes. and i loved the megadrive more then the snes. it was obvious i didnt choose sega blindly. it was how it is.

i liked it and i like it. i loved it and i love it. and it never stopped ever since. while many allready joined the psx . i was actually stopping at nothing to get a saturn while the psx was cheap ass. in the early stage of psx the games were shitty anyways.

I'm gonna have to side with thearcticsea. Semmie, dude, you have gotta stop constantly making these nonsense topics. The topics seem to only make sense to you, and to be honest it is nearly impossible to decipher what exactly you're trying to say.

Really, I'd like to know the point of this topic?

Back in the days (the 90's? who knows) you got into physical fights with Nintendo fans and they used accessories as weapons. And your point in making this topic is to... tell us you miss the old days?

yes i do.  it was allright ;)

Ah yes...the "wars".

I remember those snot faced Commodore 64 Kids trying to cut me with their SID Tape drives whilst I tried to retaliate with my Joseph's multi coloured Speccy Keyboard.

Some BBC Micro owners threw their Elite discs in my face and now I have a mark on my face which all the C64 fanboys laughed at. :(

The SEGA fanboys cleaned me up, shown me the way and now I am a true blue! I relive painful memories of those BBC snot nosed kids to this day. :(

At least their computers died that week when the SEGA fanboys bashed their precious PCs with their Master System phaser guns!  ;D
Big fan of Claymore, Miria in particular.

Currently playing Yakuza 0.

Anyway story short, no offense but most of nintendo fans are faggots. That's basically the moral of the story

it is actually an art to talk civil.

like for example

Actuwallie ei doont leik duh nientendoo. kos duh nientendoo ies somting det meek mie pyoek.
bat ei have 3ds :s

ok joke

but eey we all compromised smehow cause we had to since sega is not havin its console. no doubt without a handheld and a console u cant play games. and yeah pc games but i only like RTS on pc.

i swear to the allmighty if sega had a handheld and a console i wouldnt have the ps3 and ds.
forgive djaw he loves sega. as long as peeps dont do it frequently sometimes its ok to vent and yell and curse. but to compensate we should not use it as a standard.

i used to be a member of mixfight forums. and the policy was that u could tell bad things as long as u said it in a forum section called the Pit
the pitty was tho that people that hated eachother on the pit sometimes they would also curse eachother outside the pit.

hopefully cursing to vent once in a while i dont see harm. but the issue is not all of us can live with that freedom. and that is why even i have this. come on were humans aight

we love hate yell scream curse talk cute like you know them peeps. family love.
love for your wife mix of love n lust

ok back in the days topic.
nintendo gives me the creeps really when u look at their fan pics. just type google  nintendo geek
ok as a surprise ull also find a cute woman with a nintendo slip no joke. she may jump onto us sega fans. we will show here the real deal and bodypaint her blue and leave some white in the navel. oh no shit maybe better to make her amy alike. wuhahahaha.

yeah baby its ok we sega peeps know how to do stuff. cause we are sega ;)

a pitty i didnt do that back in the days. i should have taken over the chicks. ah well was just tooooooo busy playing aztec adventure on the sega master system

Semmie, try as I may I can't make sense of most of that post. Anyway, Its ok to say stuff like "fuck" and "shit" on the forums, but no attacking others with bad language. We especially do not allow using words like "fag" or "gay" when referring to ANYTHING in an insulting manor.

We're not going to have a special forums where rules don't exist, so forum members are just going to have to follow the rules, be respectful, and drop the homophobic bullshit. Not allowed here. No cutting slack or forgiving people because they're fans.

Back on topic.

this guy on the pic says as follows

LOL

just kidding.

rules are good but where i come from saying that kinda stuff. even gays say gay to peeps sometimes LOL
lets not forget gay means being happy in the webster dictionairy. so are u gay? everyone is gay sometimes :)
except me cause im always angry.

me being angry if someone would talk bad about sega surely there would be a revenge. i would make people forget that i wwas angry and freaking ambush them. I remember rory from ireland came to the school with his nes and put it on tv. and everyone that was enjoying playing mario would be payed for that.

now i dont wanna talk big. i got blue and bruises cause there was plenty retaliation against me and counters. but at the end i still stood. i had this t shirt of sonic and knuckles.
damn i regret i gave that to someone. i would steal it back if i could LOL
but imagine me being this

for real thats how i was. and today being an adult i pretend to be normal at my job. but when people see me looking serious they better not make jokes.

enough macho attitude. i was with sega i am with sega
and ninfreaks are what they are. hatefully and in all contradiction im forced having a 3dsxl.
but that is just a temperory solution .

Dude, did you not read what I wrote? Cut it out. You seem to write and write and write but do you ever stop and think? This topic is on thin ice, any more and it is locked.

I'll share my back in the day topic.

-I use to argue with my cousin about who would win in a match Sonic or Goku in Super form.

-I remember going over there to watch him play NBA2K when he threw the basket ball the wrong way and I was like "You threw the wronggg shit!" It kinda slipped when I said it and almost got myself in trouble.

-My older brother and I use to play Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II on the Gamecube. We had some funny usernames. He was called "Byrdman" and I decided to be funny and call myself "RoboCop" since my character was a hunter CAST.

-Lastly when The House of the Dead first came out to the arcades. I was scared shitless of zombies, I mean scarier than zombies in Resident Evil because it looked so real back then. Everywhere I go I usually hate going to the arcade but after playing III, I became what I am today :)
