I guess SEGA doesn't plan on abandoning their old games anytime soon like that one guys comment about Wii u VC would make you think.

Well, it might be the case that Sega just doesn't see the Wii U as a wise investment.

Nice. Hope they add the other and better wonder boy games as well soon. If SEGA wont put em on wii u i'll probably get em on ps4 instead when I get one. I never bought the games digitally except for on steam. But for some reason I never start em up on steam. The experience is just really for lying down on the cough or bed imo.

SEGA did comment on the whole wii u thing http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2014/07/sega_still_considering_its_options_for_the_wii_u_virtual_console. But yeah still uncertain

Apparently this version isn't by SEGA. Nippon Ichi Software and Hamster Corporation handled this port as part of their Arcade Archives series. So I wouldn't take this as a sign of that there will be other SEGA ports for PS4.
