Is true that not all the genres can have a F2P Model (those Namco games have been bad tries because they haven't made the research for making a game with that model) but I can't see why all this games need to be hated..."it's not asking your money, you put the money if you want". And if this game offers you the same amount of content ,except the aesthetics and full personalize character system, that a full game has, it's beneficial for the two sides..just like PSO2 and I think this new game  is going to be in that way.

I don't think they need to be hated either. There are ways to make it work and be palatable enough and such. I have never really heard lots of people complain about PSO2 either. I do however think the pricing model has earned its reputation and some people are rightfully cautious. Besides, the whole point of free 2 play is that elements of how they're designed induce purchases, the notion that the average player is just as empowered or in control of their spending when playing an f2p game (to be fair, monetizing varies in aggression) as they are when paying for a standard $60 game is misleading. Why else would you make the game if it's just f2p and go, gotta monetize it yeah?

My problem with F2P is it just effects the game design in almost ever aspect. Yes there are some games that are F2P that do it right, but for the most part they remain the exception and not the role.

Now the developer has to design a game where the player must depart with his/her hard earned cash just to buy energy to continue in the game, or perhaps they might up the difficulty spike randomly because they really do not want you getting through the game without needing some "help" etc there are a lot of issue with F2P games that do not appear in games that are designed with a one price entry fee.

Furthermore in regards to the game content itself, developers will not have the same level of financial return from the same period a retail game would have. This forces them to break the game down into episodes rather than one major entry that can stand on it's own.

The game did have me excited but SEGA has to prove to me this is more like PSO2 and not like Kingdom Conquest 2.

Forced? They were doing the pay for progressing to the next level way back in 2005. Its more of a gimmick that they knew they could make money on.

Sadly it seems more of a mobile affair:

Sega said that they would be developing more games like PSO2 in the future, still hasn't happened. On the Arcade side, they have multiple big budget networked games going on...
But the bigger issue, no immidiate worldwide releases for these games...first they botch retail games, and then they botch their promise on the focus on digital games...
