New Bayonetta Something ... few days to go
« on: April 02, 2017, 08:27:31 pm »
Is anyone else hype for the out of the blue Bayonetta countdown?

What's the worst case scenario here, Bayo 1 for a new platform (probably PC). Even for that, so hyped. Might usher in an era of the Platinum/Sega games making there way to Steam. I am so ready to revisit Modern HD Vanquish or Anarchy Reigns.

And that's the worst case, best case would have to be a new Bayo game.

Either way, glad to see Bayonetta back in her rightful home (Sega). Bayo 2 was technically fantastic, but it lost a lot of its charm by no longer being a Sega parody game of sorts.

I'm certain it is Bayo 1 on PC, which is great. I know its not a new game, but the more people playing the better!

I liked Bayo 2 but I'll admit it felt a bit samey and, full disclosure, I've yet to complete it. It's not that I got stuck, it's just that I didn't want to reach that point where there was no more new Bayonetta.

I am very pleased to the idea that something concerning Bayonetta is about to be announced, and even if, as it foretold by many it will an adaptation of the first title, I'm almost be happier and definitely quieter on the positive outcome of the game.

Wasn't the recent Platinum game (Nier: Automata) supposedly an awful port to PC? Completely relying on the modding community to fix the aspect ratio. If it is Bayonetta 1 for PC, hopefully it's being handled properly.

I'm guessing Platinum have been hit quite hard by the cancellation of Scalebound and a couple of desired ports might help. I wonder if we'll see both Bayonetta games for PC. How about Vanquish or W101 too?

All this trouble for a Steam port. Would like to hope it's a Remaster for PC and One and PS4 or better still Bayonetta III for Project Scorpio and PS4 Pro lol, knowing SEGA its just a steam port :)

How much would PG even make? Doesn't SEGA own the game outright?

SEGA owns the IP rights, it can do with the brand what its see's fit and wants. PG are nothing more than a programming team for the likes of Bay

So glad something Bayonetta is coming out. I'll take anything.

Played the Nier demo, and it just felt like fake-Bayonetta to me. Couldn't shake it. Glad the real-deal is being announced soon, whatever it may be.

Alright, it's what we all imagined.

Bayo 1 on PC.

At least the reviews are coming in positive as far as port quality goes.

Would be nice if the second game wasn't stuck on a doa console.

It's pretty much the same as the first one, just take out the touch screen controls and ta-dah!  multiport friendly.  :D
