I'm fine with someone being right wing being in office, hell it shifts left to right and back again every 8 years.  I'm not one of those crazy assholes who lose their shit when someone i didn't vote for gets in.  The right wing forgets they did the same shit when Obama won.

Trump is our government.

Then why do so many republicans disagree with him?

While several Republicans disagree with him, have any done anything to go against him or stop him?

Yes.  Anything Trump wants passed often doesn't go through.  Not taking sides here.   I just think out of all the presidents we've had, this one seems the most biased because he's a dumb rich celebrity and not a politician.  You can't take anything he says seriously.  It makes it way too easy to make fun of him on Saturnday Night Live.  if anything positive came out of this election, it's their ratings.  granted that show is still awful, but the numbers don't lie.  Americans agree Trump is nuts.

I realize he IS our government, but I was referring to the two as candidates, when we still had the choice.

I highly doubt anyone will be able to defeat Trump in 2020. I mean, not only is he the incumbent, he's also a celebrity billionaire businessman.

Even though I don't support him, I have to give him credit for his campaign. It was genius in 2015 and 2016. I'm sure 2019 and 2020 will not be different.

Just for fun, who do you guys like for 2020?

Jason Kander?
Joe Biden?
Martin O'Malley?
Stephen Colbert?
Tulsi Gabbard?

Colbert won't run.  He makes a living making fun of the presidents.  Biden might run again, if he does chances are Hillary Clinton will too.  It'll be deja vu all over again.  I did hear celebrities are going to run, but that could be bullshit since so many are saying it from comedians to rap artists to movie actors.  O'Malley?  highly doubt it.  If I had to pick a candidate, I honestly couldn't say at this time.  I would have to hear first what these other guys are bringing to the table and then go from there.  I'm not entirely against a 3rd party winning for once either.
