I think it'd be less work for you to just get a PSP.
They're designed around being portable experiences anyway.

Hey Hey, I never said I hate handhelds.

I have 2 NDSs, I love Phoenix Wright I always play certain games when I am travelling or on vacations but that is when I use a handheld.

If people are that hung up on 'owning something physical', you can download the game to a USB/burn it to a disc if it makes you feel better. Then you have a 'physical' copy of the game (in as much as you can own a physical copy of a video game at least).

Aaaaaanyway if you don't have aversions to handhelds, buy a PSP. They've had some price drops recently and aren't too expensive. They were on sale over here for $150, but I forgot to buy one..

Okay i'll show you a bit of Pakistani Mentality.

They are people who install any game you want on your PSP/PS3/360 for a fixed fee or if your tech savy you can do it yourself.

I don't do that.

You can also go to the regular gamestores which sell copies (pirated) disk + cover only.

I don't do that either.

I like buying my games legit, and it pays off you get them in proper packaging, sometimes you get the soundtrack with it. You get the manuals, or something other extra.

That is the only practical motivation for paying 25 times more then market price. You take that out of the equation, I can just go to my game dealer and have him install CRUSH on an SD card for me, or I can just download it myself from my choice of torrent website.

^I'm not really sure what you are getting at with that post. I just suggested you buy a PSP to play it, go on eBay or something if you don't trust local sellers (although you probably have some irrational hatred of ebay as well.)

I love ebay.

My point basically was that pirated medium was downloaded and installed illegally via torrents.

The advantage of buying an original product aside from giving money to the developers was that you would get more then just the game.

Look at it this way:
You google torrents for any of the new dc games and you will find them, download them and burn them. They aren't different from the real thing if you look at the game alone, but if you buy Rush Rush Rally Racing DX, you'd get bumper stickers, color manuals with concept arts and deleted scenes, a soundtrack cd and even a poster.

That is what made me buy original games in the first place.

I get what you are saying, but I'm just wondering what inspired you to tell me that, considering I never suggested buying pirated games in the first place.

I'm talking about DLC games that have no retail alternative though, I don't see what that has to do with Pakistani video game stores selling illegal games.

They do here, given that we can't access XBLA due to our modded consoles all DLC is released on Disks.

Looks like Sony's starting to port some games to PS3.
The only one announced so far is Monster Hunter. It looks pretty nice in HD though.

Rumored: God of War PSP HD Collection. I only played Chains of Olympus, but I hear Ghost of Sparta is really good.

Also Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD.

Ghost of Sparta's pretty solid. It lasted a bit longer than the 3rd game, but didn't have as many puzzles. You go to Sparta, which is pretty cool.
