The Training mode features really have me excited. Hopefully spending time there and recreating an opponents combos can give the less experienced players (like me) a chance to figure out how to avoid being smacked around like a bitch.

I can't wait to get home and play some more of the trial, unlocking it for real hopefully by Fri.

Damn it. Another day that I'm outta town so I can't buy it for the next two days.

For those of you who bought and are playing it right now, I gotta ask:

1- Does this game have a story mode and endings for characters or is it just like VF 5?
2- I heard Quest Mode is not here, is it DLC or is there something else in the game that plays similar to that?
3- Is there any visual improvement over the 2007 game?
4- Is Dural still a pain in the butt?

1. Not really a story mode so much.
2. There are a lot of single player training modes included. Basic ones for the main mechanics and detailed ones for each character. They even have videos that show you how to pull off the more complicated moves. The single player component is miles ahead of Capcom fighters. So much to do.
3. Not that I've noticed. They've probably improved animations and such, but the character models already looked really good. The thing is, you can have so many different costume combinations with these packs, it's crazy.  I can change El Blaze's eye colour!
4. Yes.

I've never really enjoyed fighting games online, but this game is a blast. I put a good chunk of time into it this morning. I even had a ton of matches with STORM.
There are a bunch of people just getting into it (like myself), so it's not the slaughter that playing SSFIV online is.

This game is so good it makes me sick. I played for like, 4 hours straight yesterday.

Everything about it is good, I won't go into detail. I do want to point out how amazing the customization is though. I've already made Goro Majima (Goh) and Ghost Rider (Wolf).

Netcode is also amazing, if anyone wants some games please hit me up with an invite anytime!

I just checked Xbox.com, some, if not all of the packs are nearly 2GBs in size. WOW.

This is actually kind of misleading. By downloading one of the packs, you get the content for ALL the items (Combined it's about 2GB, hence the size), but only allows you to customise with whatever pack you bought.
This is so that by downloading one of the packs, you can then see all the others when you play people online.

So once you've downloaded one at 2GB, all the others become like 2kb downloads because you've already got the data on the HDD, and you just need the 'unlock' to use them.

I had a great game with Sanus and Kogen. He sure did tap'd dat @$$ with Shun Di and Lei-Fei. I used Jacky and Kage against him, we were pretty even. Best match I've ever played since Mortal Kombat.

So when certain items are attached there is special wining poses based on what fighter it is attached to. I gave Jacky a mask and sometimes after I win a match he shoots laser beams out of the mask!!! Did any one else find any other items that lead to special wining posses?

^There's a vid online somewhere that showcases all of them, but ones that I found personally were KAGE flying away on a Ninja Kite thing, and Lei Fei throwing a Briefcase in the air and two swords falling out (which he then poses with).

I haven't been able to get Wolf to use his Microphone or Champion's belt yet though.

It's interesting... Basically the Vanilla version of this game is 15 bucks. Both bundles with everything are also 10 bucks a pop. So should you want to get anything, you got yourself a 45 dollar downloadable title. It's a good way to make some extra bucks.

I am enjoying this game on the PS3 now. I still managed to remember some basics from regular VF5. I need some more SEGABITS buddies to play with. I use the same user name on PSN.
