It does a really good job of maintaining the same kind of humour from Wes Anderson's other films. Some great performances by a ton of very good actors.

The Prestige.

Very good movie. If you like all that cloning shit, go watch it. Balls to the wall.

Love The Prestige! I watched it the same week I saw "Moon". Nice companion film to Prestige. If you've seen one, I recommend the other.

Christopher Nolan's hands down one of my favourite directors of all time.  See if you can track down Following.  It's a black and white movie he did before Memento.

I can't wait for Inception. Only one week of waiting to go :)

I saw Predators.

About what I expected from the film. 3 predators hunting down some of the 'worlds' best killers. Some twists.

Obviously some stuff did not make sense. Like, how 'they learn' after they are killed, yet (PLOT SPOILER!) two of them die because they 'stabbed the human' and then held them close to see their face, giving them time to 'blow themselves up' killing the predator. IF they are 'learning' from mistakes, they would learn the basics like 'NOT HOLDING A DAY PREY CLOSE AFTER MY FRIENDS GOT BLOWN UP'. Also the Yakuza guy has a samurai sword fight with a predator.... really!? (/PLOT SPOILER)

It was a pretty good movie, way better than the VS. films

Capitalism: A Love Story.

I have never seen so much bullshit in my life.

First, Moore needs to get his terms straight.  It's not capitalism he's railing against, it's corporatism, and to that end, he has some legit points.  What's hilarious about it is that the solutions he proposes are fucking retarded (he wants us to vote on every aspect of the economy?  Are you kidding?) and he seems to be an outright fan of despotism.

Towards the end of the movie, he praises eminent domain.  Yeah, that's right.  Eminent fucking domain.  Who the hell is in favor of that?  He also elevates FDR--you know, the man who confiscated US citizens' gold and ruined the lives of hundreds of Japanese-Americans--to godlike status.  I tell ya, there's not an individualist bone in Michael Moore's body.  Everything is better when it's "for the common good."

I wish Ayn Rand were still alive just so I could see her whip the shit out of him.

Yeah, you can probably guess my economic views, but I'm not even angry that Moore disagrees with me.  I've seen much better arguments against capitalism, ones I would entertain and gladly respond to.  It's just that this movie is so loaded with misinformation and bad ideas that I can only reach one of two conclusions--either Moore is deliberately being intellectually dishonest or he's a moron.  Maybe it's a little bit of both.

Now I know why most of the self-proclaimed socialists I know hate this movie.

Just saw Pedators as well.

I thought it was a really solid movie.  Just like George said, about what's to be expected from the premise. That said, it delivered.
Laurence Fishburne was pretty great, and had one of the best lines in the movie.

I saw 'Remember Me', due to a 'recommendation' from a friend that swore it was not a 'romantic' movie like Twilight. In a sense it is, since there is a relationship in the movie, but the trailers made it look like the Notebook. The movie has more to do with the relationship with dysfunctional families, how we handle great tragedies or how we don't appreciate what we have.

Wouldn't know, since the movie was marketed at Twilight fans, aka 12 year old girls.

Just got back from Inception.

Now, I'm pretty sure that I've never done this with a movie before, but I actually went to see it twice today.
I've been completely sold on whatever Christopher Nolan does since Memento (one of my all time favourite movies), but this movie really blew me away.
I don't want to ruin anything about it, but if you fancy yourself a fan of good movies, then go see it.

Oh, man, Inception only debuts here in Portugal next week(just like what happened to The Dark Knight). July 22nd still seems so far away.

It really seems like it would make a great IMAX film. I'd really recommend seeing it that way if you have the opportunity.
Unfortunately for me, the nearest IMAX screen is an 8 hour drive away :(.

I saw Predators recently also.  Not too bad.  Better than Predator 2 by a little bit.
