"Can I still pretend to be your son", glad they are doing the misfit Superman. So far, so good.

Somebody spotted a LexCorp building in the trailer, so Lex is sure to appear.

He was said to be in the movie, in some capacity. I like that these trailers are not showing too much of the movie. That is the issue with trailers now, I see one and I feel like i have seen the whole movie. I hope they keep it that way, we don't see much of him in the outfit, how he comes to embrace it and if there is a 2nd villain.

I assume Lex will be the teaser for the next movie (aka one of my favorite Villains right next to Black Adam).

I really like how Nolan handled villains, with multiple villains in each movie and often they carried over to the next. He even spared the lives of a few of them, unlike the older Batman movies which killed off all but the Riddler and Catwoman. And even then, they never returned for a future movie.

I'd love it if Lex was present in the first film, but didn't become a full villain until the second or third (assuming they're going the Dark Knight Trilogy route).

I like the villain takes on Nolan films, but his batman wasn't smart at all. He wasn't a real dectective. He was pretty much what Batman isn't. He wouldn't have done pushups and watched Gotham burn on TV. He would have made a rope, got out of there. Honor? LOL Batman plays to win.

I wonder how Brainiac could work as a villain in a Man of Steel sequel?

Brainiac would be a good tie-in for a Justice League movie. No? I think he is 'big enough' for JL status.

Looks cool, I liked the first one, and I like how they aren't spending too much time on Earth. Now where is the SEGA game? :P

So I went to see Iron Man 3 yesterday. Loved it, but if you'll like it or not might depend on your expectations for an Iron Man movie. First of: the trailer is a bait and switch, and by that I mean that it's a lot less serious than it seems like it is. It's more of a comedy than the other films were and even kind of similar in tone to Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, a comedy also directed by Shane Black that features Robert Downey Jr. as the main character. Also, go see Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, it's incredibly underrated.

Anyway, it should also be noted that there's not a whole lot of Iron Man in Iron Man 3 and a hell of a lot more Tony Stark. So you'll like this movie if you like Tony Stark.

I spoiled myself on something Iron Man 3 related and boy is it a lame twist! Did they pull it off well? Or is it as shitty as it sounds?

I think I know what you're talking about. It depends, I thought it was done well for what the twist was trying to accomplish, but comic fans may hate it. Opinions about the twist are very mixed so your mileage may vary.

Oddly enough, another summer movie this year has a villain twist, only going the other way around. Star Trek Into Darkness...

Gonna be an interesting summer.

Let me put it like this: Iron Man 3 probably isn't a very good superhero movie, but it's a great action comedy.
