I was JUST about to post the "out of chicken" video but then I saw you had already posted it.

Thanks for posting the Minnesota news video, brings back memories. :) Just proof of how out of touch people are with the inner workings of business. Think about it. If the ONLY Popeye's in the state adheres to the deal, gets hit HARD by huge crowds (as there are no other stores in the region to also take the increased volume) then they will both lose money and lose food stock. Plus fast food chicken is shit.

If Kogen was still here, this thread would probably lead to his banning.

Not a coincidence at all. Many black people in America are born into poor families and then are held down by their social status for their entire lives. There are people out there who are working 60+ hours a week just to try and make ends meet. They don't always have the time to prepare meals for their families themselves, nor have the money to make healthier eating decisions when eating out. Sometimes, they just want to go to KFC or Popeye's on the drive home and grab a large amount of fried chicken for everyone to eat.

Even though it seems hilarious to those of us outside of that world, there really are people who would plan ahead and set their hearts on being able to eat the fried chicken at a reduced price. It's only funny in a very, very cruel way. ^^'''
