Realised we didn't have one of these so I thought I'd boot one up;
Currently going on a bit of an anime phase and got three in particular I'm watching.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders 2nd seasonGenre: Action AdventureI've been meaning to check out the anime after hearing how faithful it's been to the manga and it doesn't disappoint. For those not in the know, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is about the Joestar family bloodline and how each generation takes on a different supernatural threat that threatens to destroy the world. Intense monologues that last longer than they should? Check, fabulous poses? Check, quirky fights and characters? Check. Basically a great adaptation of the source material
It seems that despite having a slow season 1 (I personally preferred the original JoJo series with Johnathan and Joesph.) the second season has been great so far and seems to be more sure of itself what it wants to be then the first season. Some great climaxes to the fights and/or tricks they play to be able to defeat their opponents. The only thing I've disliked is how long certain stories have been drawn out but overall the package.
Assassination ClassroomGenre: School Comedy70% of the moon has been vaporised and the being behind the incident is threatening to blow up the Earth within a year. However he gives the Earth's government a chance, let him teach class 3-E and if anyone of his student's is able to assassinate him then the Earth is saved. Nicknamed Koro-Sensei but his pupils, the kids are trained in both their studies and assassination to kill their teacher. Assassination Classroom is a strange one and I don't think I've come across a story quite like it, combining life lessons and comedy quite well and comes across as a light hearted fun ride. Despite his threats to destroy the world, you can't help but like Koro Sensei thanks to how much of a nice guy he is and how he truly cares for his students. It also helps his antics go towards insanity.

Kekkai Sensen/Blood Blockade BattlefrontGenre: Action ComedyFrom the creator of Trigun comes Blood Blockade Battlefront (Seriously why such a long winded name?!) about the group Libra that is made up of superhumans who act as the supernatural police of Hellsalem's Lot, formerly New York City. Hellsalem's Lot was created after a portal to the Beyond was opened and is now filled with all kinds of supernatural creatures that live side by side with humans. The show has Nightow's trademark humour found in Trigun also present in BBB and the animation and locales are all well done, the characters are pretty crazy (Klaus, centre, has to deal with Zapp, guy in white, trying to kill him every morning) all help to make the show and cast a memorable bunch.
I'll admit I had my reservation at first being a big fan of Trigun, the show seemed to be centred on the boy Leonardo but after watching the first 7 episodes I can say any fears I had (Such as focusing solely on Leo) was elevated, the show does a good job of making sure all casts members get an appearance. Only issue I have so far with it is that it might be a little too fast paced but if you liked Trigun I highly recommend it.
