I'm really hoping that SEGA doesn't really think that they are 'leading technologies' in the console space. Their Wii U Sonic output was disapointing, Yakuza Zero is a better running PS3 game on PS4, and the only game that is really nice current gen game is Isolation.

I really hope they are fixing this, but this video makes it seem they are putting more effort at selling casino machines.

I think you should take everything they said about games in this video with a grain of salt. I'm pretty sure it's aimed at casino investors who don't have a clue about video games and they're just flaunting what they got.

Yeah, that is what it seems like. It's a good video in that regard! Business oriented people love super confident and flashy videos.

It's obvious whoever directed this video either wasn't aware of the reception sonic boom got or didn't care and just used whatever footage was easiest to obtain. Still is funny though.

Well, I wouldn't have just straight out lied. I think Sonic is a great IP, so are others. I think that part of it is correct, but saying they are leading and pushing Japanese development forward is a straight out lie.
