What do you think of Sonic Frontiers so far? I'm not too fond of the new control scheme but I'm having a blast!
I love it so much.
It's been long since I enjoy a different approach of gameplay of a franchise which turned out to be my liking.
The last one was Persona 5 Strikers.
(Persona games usually are turn based but this one is an action RPG + musou which surprised me of how good it is and more fun than the mainline games)
At first I hate the realistic approach of Frontiers graphic (I prefer Lost Word-style of graphic) but the gameplay was so fun and exploring the island was enjoyable.
May be for 3D Sonic games, I'd like this game more than Generations.
Time will tell, still haven't finished the game.
Also good thing this game has three save slots.
Both of my kids love the game too so we could use different save slot for each of us.
I think I can confidently say Frontiers is my GOTY for 2022
(Unless collections like Sonic Origins is counted, it's hard to beat the love of classic games).
