What exactly is “Legends of Akēdo”?

It's a toy franchise which each toy in the line comes with a battle controller that attaches to the figures and includes a lever to make the warriors pivot and use their weapons to knock their opponent out.
Kinda like an advanced version of "Rock 'Em Sock 'Em.
