First Sonic Superstars Reviews Praises SEGA’s Return To 2D

Quote
They felt it was an “evolution” of the classic titles Sonic had in the earlier SEGA console generations that helped launch his character.
While there are plenty of new elements for gamers to enjoy, it will feel like a nostalgic trip down memory lane, which many will enjoy hearing.
They also said that the title is fun to play, and yet there are difficult sections with the levels, so it’s not going to be a cakewalk to beat.
Ironically, one of the biggest negative points for the title was that there wasn’t any voice acting in the game.
Many will note that this harkens back to the original games when Sonic and friends didn’t talk. However, many would also say that this would’ve been a good time to bring in voice acting to “evolve” the ...

The British Empire was... something.

It was like what the Phoenicians did, trade routes and colonies... then it became twisted, bloody and underhanded along the way it went a bit Roman Empire. I know all countries, especially Indonesia, suffered quite a bit, but I think Africa and China had it worse (probably wrong, I only have rough knowledge on the British Empire history.)

I mean, the Natural History Museum in London has a lot of treasures they've taken during the British Empire. Some countries have asked for their stuff back, the museum's answer is "We're not done looking at it."

China used to have a monopoly on Britain over resources, engineering, transportation, silk and chinese tea. I think there was also the expenses importing it over to Britain. So they turned it around by introducing opium to the country. They used actual addiction to cripple them in debt to keep the tea going.

But you gotta admit, while not without bloodshed, the British Empire didn't need a global war to establish itself. If anything it was World War 1 and 2 that ended the British Empire given Britain suddenly grew a consciolus and wanted to help other countries than just move into them like an unwelcomed uncle.

Avoiding unnecessary bloodshed and having learned from past mistakes are really welcome changes. Still back then some leaders view wars are necessary when we have to defend against something more "evil".
They said wars are the essential building blocks for peace and stability.
Now we have different kind of war.
Our government is now kinda having a "war" with China with how massive the imported goods now from them (Indonesia Imports from China was US$56.23 Billion during 2021) and they already shut down China's e-commerce service, TikTok shop, to help protect local physical and online retailers.
Indonesia was the first country Asia to pilot that app's e-commerce service in 2021 and became one of the biggest markets for TikTok Shop which then the app's suspected doing predatory pricing and invasive spying + private data collection.

Do you mean what I've been called the "Sega Renaissance" Such as Alex Kidd, Streets of Rage 4, House of the Dead and the other new remakes?

Different then.
Those "Sega Renaissance" were developed by third parties, while “MONOPOLY THE MEDAL AMERICAN DREAM” is now being developed by SEGA themselves.
The only games officialy revealed for those "Renaissance" are still same as two years ago : House of the Dead II remake and Panzer Dragoon II Zwei Remake.
Others (like Wonder Boy in Monster World remake, Altered Beast sequel, Gunstar Heroes sequel, and Jet Set Radio sequel) are still just rumour.

Have you tried giving them opium and crippling them into debt towards you over it?

Yeah but “MONOPOLY THE MEDAL AMERICAN DREAM” isn't a Sega game for PC. It's a... what the hell is a "medal game"?
*Googles it, Wikipedia page: "Medal Games"*
A Penny Drop machine? That's Sega's big fuss? I wouldn't call that a revolutionary new Sega game.
Not even actual pennies, it pushes arcade tokens.

Hard. Opium is illegal in China now.

"Revival" (revived from the death) not "revolutionary". Nobody calling it "revolutionary".
