Sonic Frontiers Director Views the Game's Mods as a 'Rival'

Well, the directors could of... y'know,
do their job.
I mean, the final battle against The End with more Ikagura gameplay was the cheapest cop-out in a Sonic game I've seen yet! To me Final Horizon was supposed to be the true conclusion to the game.
Yeah, Green Hill Zone doesn't really invoke a Christmassy feeling.
There are more zones in Sonic games which feature snow and ice, but since that kind of stages aren't unique, we got to put something in there that people could associate it with Sonic instantly.
Maybe a Green Hill scene with Diamond Dust Zone colours I can imagine. Diamond Dust Zone is a stage that's both christmassy yet associated with Sonic.

But still Yule Log videos are suppose to be indoors scene and invoke the feeling of warming yourself by the fire. There's no such thing as "Christmas Campfires", who would want to be huddled by a campfire in the middle of a tundra with snow and ice around you?
But at this rate, I doubt I'd get this Yule Log project finished. (Plus, I haven't asked for permissions to use the various music I want to use on my Yule Log videos. Even if I ask right now, who knows when they may reply.)
May be they are saving the snow theme for next 3D Sonic games.
Perhaps. Winter themed stages are popular.
