Someone dying in the movie could make the movie PG13?



Anyway, some fans accept that rating, while others fear that destructively dark content might harm young viewers.
There's even a petition to change the rating.

Eeh, I've learned change.org does nothing, so I won't bother to sign it.
I mean, if the movie will be PG13 because of Maria's death then it should be up to the parents/guardians on whenever it's appropriate for their kids to watch... but given they likely watched the first two movies with them then they would likely gauge whenever Sonic's worth it or not.
Also, I don't want the movie to get censored or have scenes removed to keep a lower rating. This movie is catered for Sonic fans, not snowflakes.
