Hm, maybe. I still think Shadow's game should have a remake and be the first installment of a series of spin-offs for other characters... but unlikely ever gonna happen.

SEGA right now is kinda care about their score reviews of their game (judging on how they like to put accolades trailer and see pics below taken from their official social media accounts) so I doubt a game with not-so-good or bad review will get a remake unless they find a way to make it better.

Yeah, but these days EA just cash-cows its franchises.

True. I can write an essay on how I hate them for messing up with Popcap which affected to the dissapearance of beloved Zuma, Bejeweled, and Bookworm series but that's another story.

We've actually discussed that picture over on Sonic Wiki Zone. I surmised that it reuses this screenshot from Sonic Forces.

I thought the background is different, the soil isn't checkered brown, but yeah ... it's most likely a reused screenshot.

The fence post is also different from the one in the Lost valley picture, but the frame of Sonic is definitely the same.

Hah! good luck to Sega delisting it here. I dunno the stats but not only is it still popular on Steam but has a huge modding community.

Yes, but that's from Sonic Team, not SEGA.
Or may be it's just a sweet talk, since they're not saying it from nowhere.
They're just answering a question from fan (in Official Sonic Fan Meet) whether remake of SA1, SA2, and o6 are considered or not.
The media somehow made it a headline without giving it a full context.

I have a feeling there are some who can write a whole book on EA these days.

Yeah, but remember, EA generated net revenue of 7.56 billion U.S. dollars in its 2024 fiscal year.
So in terms of money, as a company they know what they're doing, anything we wrote won't matter.

Hah! good luck to Sega delisting it here. I dunno the stats but not only is it still popular on Steam but has a huge modding community.

May be they're preparing a new collection but who knows.

Sonic mods are giving us the Chao game Sega won't make

Quote
Fans have lamented about the lack of Chao in Sonic x Shadow Generations, but all is not lost. In a mod released by Jaildiku on Sunday, players can now add an additional “Dry Lagoon Garden” location based on the treasure hunting stage from the main game.
The mod is filled with all sorts of adorable flourishes. It has rich, saturated textures, custom decorations like a boat and pool, many plants, and even hidden emerald shards. It uses the same buildings and flora that ornament the scenery in the Dry Lagoon level from the  ...

Ah I see, the media made it sound big when really it's just talk amongst them.
Yeah, but remember, EA generated net revenue of 7.56 billion U.S. dollars in its 2024 fiscal year.

I'm still not fond of them. I mean, EA Play is a subscription service to play their games isn't it?
And the Command & Conquer series, one of it's most popular franchises, has been reduced to mobile rubbish.
May be they're preparing a new collection but who knows.
All we can do is hope. But with no certainty they could just be leaving us dry for all we know.

This is exactly why it would be risky for Sega to consider removing Sonic Adventure games from the Steam store.

I don't play "Sonic Adventure" that often, but look what I can make of it whenever I'm in the Christmas mood:

I believe so? I haven't touch EA games again since they shut down Bookworm Heroes.

Because mobile and its micro transactions are where the money at.

Yes, but remember that Sonic 1, 2, and 3&Knuckles also had a lot of mods (much ,uch more compared to SA1/2) and SEGA didn't hesitant to delist them.

Cheat Code on the Sonic 3 Movie Promotional Genesis Cartridge Revealed that New Trailer Coming November 25th

Quote
There has been quite a bit of Sonic Movie 3 news lately. Of course, the film is premiering in theaters in less than a month from now. But there has been a lot of speculation that a new trailer for the movie may be coming soon, and the sudden increase in media releases, such as character posters, has only fueled the speculation even more.
Well, the speculation can finally end. SEGA and Paramount sent certain people a package containing items such as a cheat code and a Sonic Movie 3 Genesis cartridge. If you play the cartridge and use the cheat code, a message comes up confirming that ...

I wanna play Fractured But Whole, but I can't ebcause I need an EA subscription.

That's true. All those mods gone to waste.
