If they're making their own digital distribution service like Steam, I would accept that. I don't need to pay for a subscription to buy games and such.
But I never used subscription services because it sounds like paying for content regularly. if all the content was free and you're paying for the right to have access to it, then sure. But if I am paying for a subscription and they're still charging me for games and movies, which they will prevent me from watching my paid content after subscription expires, that's worse.
It's making me think of Window's 24H2 update and how they're making mixed reality and their headsets obsolete. Headsets they're selling for thousands of pounds only to be paperweights by next year.
If it's like Steam then I won't like it.
I always love SEGA being everywhere (PC, mobile, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo consoles/handhelds, plus of course also toys, comics, manga, movies, mercs).
Yakuza grew up in Playstation consoles and Super Monkey Ball grew up in Nintendo consoles.
Limit them in Steam-like that's only for PC is a backward move.
