A sequel to Sonic: Night of the Werehog  could be happened someday if they planned to release Sonic Unleashed Ultimate later.
The short movie could be used to promote the game.

They could... but these days Tyson Hesse and Yukio Kusomoto make the animations to promote Sonic games. While they're not bad, they're not as quality as Night of the Werehog.
Such missed opportunity indeed about comic ones.
I want a crossover between Sonic and House of the Dead or may be other dark games.
Of course it hasn't to be real.
Could be turned out just a dream by Knuckles or Shadow.

My idea for an IDW Sonic Halloween ComicFest issue would that it takes place not long after the events of #19. It be about a small group of civilians lead by a Restoration member who try to leave the Hotel but could not, thus they miss the rescue truck and no one even knows they are there. Luckily the hotel is still rather secured, comfortable and with supplies but how long can they hold out before the Zombots get in?
While a completely original cast of (disposable) characters, Shadow, Charmy and other characters who are zombots cameo as problems they have to overcome but the idea of the story is inspired by Dawn of the Dead, which is about a group of survivors in relative and plentiful comfort while trying to survive zombies.
About the list that you made, the one I remember most is Sonic X one with Boo ghosts. For me it's definitely the scariest among them all.

The list is all the Sonic episodes I can find that fit the bill of mild-horror in theme but as far as I'm aware no Halloween episodes. I find that while Tails' Tale isn't exactly pumpkins and ghosts, it has tombs, cobwebs and bat-people which is rather Halloweeny.
Sonic Ghost Shooting game could happened if SEGA's willing to/
I meant they already published arcade version of Nintendo's Luigi Mansion
Ghost Shooting game is already an arcade game in Joypolis. Problem is I and many others outside of Japan will probably never get to play it. That's why I suggest recreating it as a browser-based VR game, so that I and others can simulate the ride and the experiance. And given it's about shooting ghosts, well how Halloweeny is that?
Horror Storybook about Sonic sounds nice too.
Just too bad Storybook series died with Wii.
It's a damn shame for Sonic Team to stop the storybook series short on just two games. What I liked about these games is that they take Sonic into more original and unique themed worled that relaxes the aesthetics and standards the Sonic games are known for. I mean the rings are a staple but it replaces springs, dash pads, robots and other things for concepts and gimmicks unique to the world it's set in. Because of this, SOnic Team could of made a storybook set anywhere for any theme or occasion.

For example, my storybook idea "Sonic and the Blood Moon", it's somewhat gothic in theme and set in a world similar to Yharnam. Despite these ideals and perhaps elements of Halloween in there, it's not neccisarily a Halloween game, it's still the kind of game you can play whenever, it just so happens that classic monsters are the theme.

But given such a game is likely to be favoured to play around October, if the game had a Party Mode I would call it "Halloween Party Mode" and just go all out with the jack-o-lanterns, veiled ghosts, trick or treats etc.

I had an older idea for storybook games called "Sonic and the Pearls of Wisdom", an ancient-chinese themed game set on the Journey to the West. I've been holding onto that idea since before S&tBK.

Party Mode is my favorite part of Sonic and Secret Rings.
Just changing their background into haloween theme could made me want to play them again.

That  storybook idea "Sonic and the Blood Moon" is interesting.
But may be change the title since I don't think "Blood" is a suitable title for kid-friendly Sonic games.
Unless the game is for mature players of course.
I think I ever read somewhere that there are some words that can't be used a title if we want the game to get E rating.

"Sonic and the Red Moon" is fine. As long as the reason why it's red is kept in.

In S&tSR, just as Erazor Djinn cast the Flame of Judgement on Sonic that limited his time.
In S&tBM would have a similar curse put on him after the main villain leaves a nasty cut on his arm and stains the moon with a drop of his blood. As the moon gradually turns red throughout the adventure so little is Sonic's time.
But this dark ritual unlocks a familiar power to Sonic, allowing him to become the Werehog for certain stages. The gameplay of these stages are similar to Die Hard/Dynamite Deka in gameplay.

I haven't thought of a good name for the Big Bad or the Companion yet, but I know the roles of Sonic's friends counterparts:

Shadow and Rouge = The Vampires. They are servents to the Big Bad, but eventually Sonic convinces them to turn against him. While not specifically named they are based after Dracula and Camilla.
Tails = The Scientist. After Sonic helps him subdue his "creation", he convinces him to be more compassionate to his creation. The scientist is based after Victor Von Frankenstein and his creation after Frankenstein's Monster.
Knuckles = The Hunter
. Stereotypical monster hunter. Fought Sonic as a werehog and was baffled the werehog showed him mercy. When he put asside his prejudist against monsters is willing to help Sonic fight the Big Bag. His attire is based after Gabriel Van Helsing.
Blaze = The Mummy. She was asleep in a sarcophagus found i the Big Bad's collection. She possesses an amulet that concentrates her fire into solar light that burns vampires and Big Bad.

Tails as The Scientist and Knuckles as The Hunter were good ideas.
Choosing a bat as Vampire is indeed the most logical sense I think,
But I'd prefer Rouge become a mummy, like her in Sonic 30th Anniversary Art Book : Life in Sonic's World Vol.1

Blaze on the other hand could be ... um I don't know, ... what's a ghost with a fire theme?

I wanted Blaze to be a Mummy, and by that I mean she has some bandages but her body is perfectly healthy than all zombie like. She possess an amulet that allows her to shine sunlight through it at any time, anywhere, which makes it a powerful weapon against vampires.

Ian Flynn Consulting on Sonic Prime

Quote
We’ve known for a little while that Sonic comics scribe Ian Flynn has at least been informed about Sonic Prime’s production since before it was publicly announced.
We now have a better idea as to the extent of his involvement in the show’s production, thanks to a tweet by Man of Action writer and artist Duncan Rouleau.
