Try Gematsu, Siliconera and/or Nichegamer.

Mah nigga. Literally the only 3 gaming sites worth visiting.

If you guys are up for making a top 50 or top 100 list, here's my proposed method – this is based on voting rules that I've seen work on a Simpsons fan site when ranking the top 50 episodes from The Simpsons 500+ episodes. Here's how the voting could work:

• Each member creates and submits a top 25 list (if we want a top 50) or a top 50 list (if we want a top 100)

• For scoring, each game that appears on a list scored 25 points for a #1 rank (as best ever), 24 pts for #2, 23 points for #3... All the way down to 1 pt for 25th place. And, of course, all unranked games would score zero points for that list.

• Highest base point total wins, with the tie-breaker being the number of lists a game appeared on. The double-tie breaker goes to the episode with the higher individual ranking on any of the lists.

If you all have thoughts on the method, or have your own methods please let me know. I'm not 100% certain this could work, but its worth a shot. Once we have a decided method, I can start a new thread and get things going. It will likely take a while to gather all the lists, and ideally we would get a lot of lists. So it might involve a bit of campaigning for new members to join the forums to share their list.

sounds good to me, let's do the top 25 list.  I think that will be way more manageable.  Can we also please tweet it at ign or something.  I want to stick it to those smug bastardssssssssss.

Would be more than happy to do an illustration featuring the top 5 winners.

To be honest I couldn't give a shit, it'll be forgotten in a week. I wouldn't be surprised if they decided not to include a SEGA game simply to do something edgy that would bring in clicks but they could also get away with.

Hey guys what's going o-

*People actually getting angry over a top 100 list from IGN*

I just remembered why I only come on here when I'm incredibly bored.

With shitty posts like this, don't bother.

God yes, a Top 100 Sega games list, with a special Top 10 Sega Games from the last 5 years appendix, so that it's easier to lecture on people mid youtube comments

Yes. That way Sega Bits can display 10 SEGA published IPs that people ignored like: Colors, Captain America Super Solider, Binary Domain. Just to name a few.

That sounds a little too complicated imo. The way I described is pretty simple, and promotes a little more community discussion. It's always fun to see how salty everyone gets at the end, it's good fun. Plus, it can be adapted to a 25 list (I really don't recommend going above that), and can multiple rounds can be done if everyone is unsatisfied with the final result.

It's really not complicated as people only need to submit their top 25 lists. Submitting top 25 lists would actually render a top 50 as the totals would combine to create a list greater than 25.

When they wrote a history of videogaming...
And NONE of SEGA consoles ever mentioned.

Very true, IGN have always been a bit of joke with their reviews .. NCL love-in and so called lists . Never mind SEGA games, there's some classic games that aren't in that list either and the lack of respect to games that pushed the boundaries and made gaming what is it today on the old 8bit computers and consoles is shocking and to have Halo II in that list is the biggest joke of all

Panzer Dragoon Zwei is
One of the best 3D shooting games available

Time magazine seldom has any credibility.
