How do you think Amy would react if the future shows Sonic's maried with Blaze?
If we're going that deep, heart-broken but she will be able to get over it.
Since her debute in Sonic CD, her adoration and obsession with Sonic has become a running gag for years. It wasn't until recent years however that she seems to be over Sonic. Team Sonic Racing being the first game where she's more about the on-going events than spending time with Sonic.
Sonic Frontiers is the biggest red flag to me over Sonic Teams abandonment of SonAmy. Amy Rose is dedicated to the unrequited love between two Koco's but never brought up her relationship with Sonic, only for it to end with her saying she has plenty of love to give, but must go out and spread it across the world.
To me, it felt like Amy was saying "You never acquitted my love for you Sonic, so I must go out and let you be."
I imagine if she finds Sonic is marrying someone else, her heart will scream, "Why not me? Why never me?" but if she has given up pursuing Sonic, she will accept she was never good enough for him ever.
I can accept if Sonic Team are tired of Amy's obsession with Sonic, I just don't want them to treat her like a love-sick crush with him or ignoring it entirely. I like how their relationship is depicted in IDW Sonic comic. Amy still loves Sonic, just not as hounding to him as she was in the games.
