The game still could be around, but not the updates.
When Gamefam is done with it, there will be no weekly update anymore.
Yeah I imagine that will happen. The game will still be available, and they will probably have one last updated making missed-out past content available for purchase and that's about it. Hopefully Pumpkin Hill and any other limited time worlds will be permanently available.

You'd think they would make a Frontiers Update before this Detective Tails update. I mean, I often wonder how in-advance Gamefam prepares these events or not at all.
And by the looks of how these events are set up, all it takes is some customize models and that's it, just get the players to collect 75000 pieces of crap.
Heck the
cyloop is practically perfect for a trail.
I also noticed in the Halloween event, parts of Pumpkin Hill looked unfinished.
