Is it because SSS and Prime were developed by western companies while Olympic series were developed by SEGA of Japan?

I imagine Cream as herself would be better for an Easter update. That or Easter update will have Spring Cream for that.
But you're right. Don't recall any character introduced in costume before their default appearances first. Given it's the Year of the Rabbit, make sense to make it for Cream.

I simply believe Sega want to reduce Rouge's sex appeal. I myself think this is wrong because I see it like body shaming. But I fear no one else will see it as that and just regard me as a horny simp upset over less bat titties.
Way I see it, Rouge is suppose to have a degree of voluptuous. It sort of compliments her characteristics of confidence, deception as a spy and trust as a friend. I'm not saying she should be some sillicone monster held together in a tight catsuit thirsty for Knuckles family jewels, she can still have a degree of sexy but still be modest for younger impressionable audience. I just think a good impression should be against body shaming people for being too sexy which is perhaps isn't as bad as body shaming someone for fat or ugliness.

Unless it will be awkwardly late like Gotta' Snow Fast or Snowboard Slopes Events.

Still, I think Cream, and maybe Chao Kindergarten event should be saved for Easter. It just seems more fitting to me.
