I noticed Sonic Speed Simulator is getting into the Christmas spirit. Right now it's just a festive Fastpass than anything, but I still think they'll likely drop the ball with it.

I dunno how much time and effort it takes to create a brand-new zone for Sonic Speed Simulator, but if I could suggest to Gamefam, the first week could introduce the Sonic 3 event, with a world I imagine based after the Tokyo seen in the film, and on the second week have White Park Zone, with the Grand Chateau as the spawn area and where the Christmas party is at.

And while you could argue "it takes a lot of time to make a brand-new zone", while I understand they probably had a work schedule for Autumn Fall Zone, it's not like they couldn't spend all of November-December working on these two other maps in what little spare time they could have. It's not like they couldn't predict a Sonic 3 promotion and Christmas for Sonic Speed Sim.

There is yet another Sonic 3 Movie web game, this time from McDonald's!
This one features fully 3D models, and Sonic, Knuckles, Tails and Shadow are all playable.
Currently, the game seems to only be playable in South America, including Brazil and Peru.

The way I see it, I believe the reason why the "objectives" of the Sonic Speed Sim event consist of mundane tasks is because "if Gamefam can't have your money, it will have your time!", so having two events simultaneously will mean players will have to commit twice as much time in the span of one or two weeks, depending on which event maybe extended.
I don't know if Gamefam has executive meetings with Sega, but I imagine they brag over how much "time players having fun" on Sonic Speed Sim they have, even if that time is just players doing chores for skins.

Not only that but Christmas is the most marketable time of year, it be foolish for them to miss out on it. Given how they barely did the minimum last year, felt like they did.

That's one way to look at it.
But if it's me, if my mobile games I played, let's say Last Cloudia's currently running two events, I usually choose one since playing two of them will be time consuming.
I bet the company who made the colab wouldn't be happy if I chose other event instead of the colab event with them.
Of course that's just me, I don't know how other players' play styles and of course the nature of mobile games are different from one to each other.
